What made our stay so great was the staff here, it was my partner’s birthday on the day of arrival and they’d provided a thoughtful welcome package and a handwritten Birthday card which was very sweet. Taniefa was especially amazing, nothing was too much for her to ensure our stay was enjoyable. She went over and above on our last day when we had to request some extra time to check out due to my partner having developed a nasty migraine. It was not an issue and she allowed 2 extra hours at no charge so we could gather ourselves before leaving. The Hyatt is a good mid priced hotel, but the people that work here are the reason we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Universal Resort, not to mention that it was a short walk to City Walk (15mins) and they also provide complimentary shuttle for those who prefer not to walk. Very impressed!

Great hotel!!!! Second time I stayed here and love it. Will recommend to anyone who wants to go to Orlando.I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff at Hyatt Place. Dawneth, Isaiah and Mike were welcoming and all around wonderful. There was another awesome gentleman working (usually on Dawneth’s shift) who was also an absolute gem but I didn’t get his name. They all greeted us whenever they saw us come in and wanted to know how our day was. It was like coming back to family. We met family in the area and we would hang out on the patio or by the bar and even they commented how wonderful the staff was. Rooms were spacious and clean. Love the pool. I think it was heated. People left things in the hallway and housekeeping was quick to get it. Would absolutely stay here again.
