The new owners have done an excellent job restoring this historic site elevating it to a high level of service and making the price in 2024 more than reasonable. The expansive site is very quiet, remote, and walking paths are teaming with local wildlife as well as markers of the past such as the anchor blocks for old Marconi era antennae. Yes, they are working on a dining option, but there are some really interesting seaside options in the area including Nick's Cove and the Marshall Store. We also did not encounter any dogs, but it's true there are no elevators.

Newly developed place, friendly staff, great location.Extremely well maintained lodge. Very clean, quiet and superb employees. We will certainly be back and stay longer.
