We absolutely loved this spot! It was beautifully decorated for the holidays and we loved all the goodies they offered (wine and cheese were available as well as milk and cookies before bed). The breakfast was an amazing selection (one of the best I’ve seen at a hotel), and the staff was super helpful. Unfortunately, our daughter got sick and we were only able to stay one night, but we definitely plan to come back in the future! Highly recommend!

This place is great. We travel often but this is a standout!!! Special kudos to Sarah at the front desk, who greeted us with her delightful personality and made us feel so welcome. The room annd bed were fantastic too. Every aspect of our stay was terrific.This is an exceptional lodging experience. The historic buildings are really cool, and the way the hotel has been designed is just really neat. Everything was so well done. From the first glimpse of the building to checkout the next day was one great moment to the next - with wine and cheese, milk and cookies, a full breakfast, decadent bed linens, huge room, great price, Sally the cat ... I can't say enough. Our son just moved to Winston-Salem, and we'll be coming back for regular visits. We'll be regular guests for sure, and I can't wait for our next stay.
