After reading a couple negative reviews about the condition of the property, our party was wary. Upon arrival, expectations were exceeded and we continue to call into question the legitimacy of other reviews. Many would state that the property was a poor attempt to upscale a dated hotel. We completely disagreed. We truly enjoyed the cleanliness of our room. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The location of the hotel was great. We walked almost everywhere during the duration of our stay including restaurants, shops, and the entirety of the downtown area. If we return to Asheville, we will be sure to stay at the Renaissance hotel again. Comparing the price at the time of our stay to other hotels in the area, this was definitely the best value. Highly recommend this hotel for your next trip to Asheville!

We arrived early hoping to just park and check in later, and Sandy immediately went to work finding us the best room that was available early. Such friendly and accommodating service!Loved it and highly recommend. The restaurant on the main floor has a fantastic buffet breakfast and made to order omelettes.
