This place is amazing- great activities for everyone, kind and helpful staff, beautiful grounds. My son and I went for a 2 night stay and were busy allay doing so many fun things together. I really appreciated the customer service, the helpfulness of the staff, and the lovely atmosphere they have created. The room is on the smaller side, but we only were in there to sleep. If you want a room where you can sit and lounge for hours you will need to book a larger room than the standard. While somewhat small, it was beautiful and had a great view so we didn't care at all!
I came to spend two days and a night for my birthday in January. I was treated with such kindness and courtesy from the moment I stepped out of my car to departing. I felt like the only guest! The employees, some working there 40 years, 20 years and new, and loving it was most striking to me. Afternoon tea by the fireplace was delightful. The meals were delicious and my server was so accommodating, even to replicate a special cocktail that was made for me by another restaurant-(this one was even better). The property and room were beautiful, elegant and clean. The grounds even in the snowstorm were breathtaking to explore. I wish I could have stayed longer. 5stars
The resort is gorgeous, the days are fun-Filled, with so many activities and amenities included in the price of your stay. The food is excellent with great options for kids. Rick, the head Naturalist is so engaging and knowledgeable. His waterfall hike is a must-do! The wibit on the lake is a great time! Our trip was perfect in every way! There was nothing they could have done better! The room could have a microwave.
