We had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed at the Spring House in the Goodwin room. The room was very comfortable and the jetted tub was a pleasant extra. The 4-poster bed was very comfortable. The whole house was very clean and cozy. The breakfast was so delicious and the service was so friendly. We had omelettes with homemade croissants. Everything was fresh and homemade. We also enjoyed afternoon tea which is complimentary and includes homemade baked goods. I love how we were able to strike up conversations with quite a few of the staff. We walked the trails one morning and it was beautiful. The only issue was that the walls are quite thin and not soundproof at all. We could hear everything. But it is an old house and everything else was impeccable. So Goodstone Inn still earns 5 stars!
I stayed at the Dutch Cottage, my room was cozy and comfortable. There is a nice view from all the windows, fully equipped kitchen ( the keurig coffee machine is a plus). Bicycles and walking sticks were complimentary. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dining is a must! My compliments to the Chef!
