All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, ready to provide any item or information we needed. Service in the Water's Edge Restaurant was great and the prices were reasonable. This is a family friendly place with lots of activities in the lodge and at the park, and lots of kids running around. I would definitely recommend to stay at the lodge not only for the beautiful natural surroundings, but also the friendly service and amenities at your fingertips.
This was the nicest lodge within a state park that we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at many. The multiple amenities were awesome. We loved walking on the boardwalk trails and the concrete trails next to Lake Erie. This would be the perfect place for a family reunion in the summer. We hope to have one there in the future.
We come here once a year, usually in the fall. The hotel and entire property have a resort feel. Outdoor and indoor pools with splash pad, wetlands boardwalk, Lake Erie beach and inland beach… and the giant steps leading down to the lake are all awesome. Service at the hotel it’s also fantastic. The restaurant, while not off the charts, is still better than most hotels. We love it here!
