Needs some major updates. We rented the place so the kids could use the water park and it was closed.

Sizeable room, so that's a bonus. However, the air conditioning unit did not function appropriately, resulting in an uncomfortably warm night.

Yellow water, need additional filtration system or to just maintain it better. Over charging for a really bad breakfast buffet, food was not well made and bad selection. I would have been disappointed even if it was a free continental breakfast.

Checking process was good. Room was clean, did have slow draining sink but other than that no issues. Beautiful grounds with lake views.

When I checked out, I showed the person at the front desk, the picture of the dirty water coming out of the faucets and she kind of turned the maintenance guy and kind of looked at him. She said sorry no offer of a refund or anything like that or next time pre-breakfast anything nothing was said I’ll never ever go back there. What a waste of a nice big property.

Gross! Check in staff were outstanding!! The rest ick!! Needs a serious overhaul.!!! Waterpark?!!! Hunks of hair in the corner on the floor in the bathroom. Beds were decent …..nothing was open when we got there at 700 on a Thursday. It was Thursday night football nothing to eat or drink very disappointed and will never be back! Ick!!!!

Very, very dated. Musty smelling. Black mold in shower. No heat and very stuffy. Tried running AC briefly to remove dampness from air, but it only had one setting, which was freezing. No mention when booking that indoor waterpark was shut down. There was an outdoor pool, but unheated (60 degrees outside). The positive…the view looking out to the lake was beautiful!

I liked the friendliness of the staff at the front desk. Beds were not comfortable. A/C didn’t work in our room.

The beach There was no mention that the water park was closed until we go there. We looked it up on social media and it closed in Jan 2026. There was no one there working on it. It was a ripoff to go and pay for hotel when the main attraction was out of service. The out pool was fine the indoor was green and the hot tub was even greener.

The room we stayed in was very dingy and musty smelling. Peeling paint all over the room, and the radiator in the room wouldn't adjust easily. Would not recommend.
