This place was an absolute hell hole. I can't believe I stayed here. I wouldn't even let my cat or dog stay there. The outside pool was GREEN and closed. So I took my niece to the indoor pool and WOW. Has the indoor pool ever been cleaned? The hot tub sounded like a monster was in it. The room I stayed in had stains on the floor.

The view of the lake from our room was great! We were located near the beach and playground area. The patio outside our door needed repair but overall it was a nice outdoor space. The restaurant was disappointing in that it was not really geared to families with kids, yet it was the only eating option on the property. A simpler menu would have been appreciated. Also, for a resort it had no marketplace area where you could grab a bag of chips or a bottle of water or an ice cream bar.

Would not go back unless major renovations were done!

We will never go back. Waterpark is closed, outdoor pool was closed, beach was closed. Amenities were broken and dangerous. None of the chairs could be used by the indoor pool as they were all broken. The food at the restaurant was gross, underbaked. The staff was extremely rude.. I tried posting pictures on the reviews online and they deleted them right away. 00000/10 stars.

The property is lovely but somewhat outdated, with ongoing updates. The staff was friendly but clearly lacked training. The stay was affordable, and the food was average. Our room had a noisy air conditioner, but they responded quickly and upgraded us to a better room.

The resort has a lot of great potential. Unfortunately it is poorly maintained. During our stay we were unable to use the beach, the outdoor pool and the hot tub. We did not receive housekeeping service despite multiple calls to the desk. If properly staffed and maintained, this could be a really nice place. The location is wonderful.

The resort needs more staff!

One staff in the chophouse Lisa was amazing, the rest of the staff did t seem to know what was going on. The property need a lot of work, and cleaning. Jetski rental was fun and affordable. 4th of July fireworks were great.

We stayed here 7 years ago and it was amazing. This was completely disappointing. Rooms were gross, hallways were not clean. Service was poor. I won’t be returning.

I want to cancel it but I couldn't so

Some dirty towels in stairway. Our room patio screen door was duck tap at the bottom; may be it is a temporary fixed. We wish there is a better breakfast menus. The purchased breakfast buffet was below par even for my spouse who is not a picky eater.

That said, the rooms were very spacious, and the views were absolutely stunning. If the hotel invests in some renovations, it would be an even better place to stay.

It looks like at one point this was a great spot. I am not sure if it's in a transition with new owners, it's sad could be a great spot but needs some love.

The Big Splash Water Park is under renovation. We didn't bring children for this visit but hope it is up and running for a return trip next year. Prices at the Chophouse for lunch was very expensive. Mimosa's were $14 a glass and we had a burger & chips which cost $22. The food was delicious though.

Stairwells were very dirty with garbage and debris even an old slice of pizza. The property grounds had a lot of geese waste. The property was outdated in certain areas and could use updating in the pool areas. Pools and hot tub area could be cleaned better with better presentation. Chlorine especially in the outdoor pool seemed excessive. Staff pored chlorine in the outdoor pool but did not close the pool to allow for cleaning. Overall the property had a lot to offer just didn’t appear it was kept up as it could be.

It's a water park resort without any of the water. They don't mention that until you check in. Wouldn't recommend and won't stay here again.

It needs to be updated. Carpet was very dirty! Needs replacing!
