OYO Hotel Alice TX Hwy 281 West

We saw 2 lil baby roaches by the ac unit. And we where looking forward to get in the pool. And there was no water in there.

The rooms were absolutely disgusting! Nothing like the picture . The lady in front office was rude Everything was gross

Had to ask for a new room. Found roaches and bathroom was disgusting. New room also had roaches. Do not stay here.

Rat droppings in the bed. Not on top but between the shhets of a made up bed. And property told me it was my responsibility to check. I have to make sure remote, a/c and fridge work as well. Pictures of property are severely misleading. Also over charged from my booking. Stay away

They need pest control hundred of chockroaches

The last in the front desk did her job but the room had left over roaches , no hot water the front desk lady took pictures of the food and drinks left from person before me .

Booked online The rooms smelled musty.

The room was nasty it had roaches in the bed and the ac unit didn’t work and lights only one lamp worked the other lights would just flicker and the bathroom was horribly nasty

We legit went to our room and immediately left and booked another hotel it was awful. Smell like someone was just sitting in the room smoking there was stains on the bed the chair in the corner and the bathroom was awful

This place is a disaster! In May, a windstorm blew the roof off the restaurant into the parking lot. It’s still there! Woman says they’re waiting for insurance. Total BS. Place is a mess. Debris and nails and dirt everywhere. Ac not on in room, which was terrible. Place was using room 103 as an office. They assigned me 118. Get there and batteries to remote are dead. Walk to get batteries. Turn on tv; it is stuck in a mode which needs the Samsung remote. Walked back to 103. She assigns me 117, and walks back with me. Need Samsung remote for volume. Directv to change chann. Moved my stuff from 118 to 117. Clerk absolutely could not have cared less about my check in. Didn’t say a word she didn’t have to. Floor was filthy. Ac did not reach bathroom. Not enough towels. Place is a total disaster.

The place is an absolute train wreck I don't know if they're in the middle of remodeling which I hope they sure are because the place has got to be 75 to 80 years old and looks at the park and lots of disaster there's more potholes there than there is clean pavement the room service surprisingly they give you every day the beds are comfortable and the TV works besides that don't expect anything else there's a reason why it's priced the way it is.

This place was a red flag from start to finish. When we drove up to the entrance the parking lot was full of potholes. The lobby was unavailabl, trashed down outside was the first red flag, had to go to literally a room to check-in. As I was checking in I should’ve left when the person told me my name wasn’t popping up in the computer after booking 2 hours before I arrived. Finally after insisting to refresh I popped up on the computer checked in and went to see my room. The room smelled disgusting, was filthy, dirty, trashed, nasty when checking the restroom my kids see roaches all around that was the last string not to mention grasshoppers making noises and I don’t know what other filthy animals I didn’t see. I immediately asked for a refund and the person who checked me agreed to have cancel my stay and returned my money. After contacting Expedia for 3 days straight regarding my refund I was unsuccessful yet. Went back to have them give my some type of proof that states I didn’t stay here and the girl there name Annabelle was rude and was more interested in watching a movie and eating then to help me in any way shape or form she only gave me a sheet that says i checked in and out but nothing that says I did not stay there. DO NOT STAY HERE. This place need to be removed.

It was ok had a few issues but was just to sleep and go

As a single dad having run around Texas and the southern U.S. for Vball, Bball, Sftball tourneys, visits for family and friends and truck recoveries, I've stayed at my share of "budget" motels. This place was the worst, and it's not even close. First I'm informed they don't honor hotels.com reservation prices, so they can give me a letter approving a cancellation after which, I NEED to call hotels.com and arrange the refund, or I can pay the difference. Next, I receive a notice to sign stating if I cause problems or am loud and disruptive, I will be evicted with no refund Well it's 11:30pm, so I pay the difference and she hands me a key......and a tv remote. That was the best part of the stay. The room door looked like something akin to a cell door and it opened to the outside?? That was a first. The sheets were stained with I don't even want to know, the unlocked patio door took me 10 minutes to get locked and the TV had that "master hotel menu" across 1/2 the screen and I couldn't get rid of it for the life of me. Plenty of budget places in Alice, Tx, a couple have been shockingly nice and remodeled. THIS place should be call The Last Resort Motel.
