Renaissance ClubSport Aliso Viejo Laguna Beach Hotel

What a breath taking hotel. Yes of course it was clean rooms and very friendly staff. The pools were amazing. Laguna beach is a hot spot for tourists, so this is a really good hotel to stay at.

Decent sized room but weird view of the top of the building. The beds were comfortable and pretty quiet. The cleanliness could have been improved. We appreciated the segregated bathrooms with steam sauna, dry sauna, and hot tub. The pool could have been cleaner and the free swim area could be improved if more space was added by closing down a lap lane and expanding it.

Close to home for power outage Service. Front desk was not helpful or friendly read rbf. Was in person but directed to make reservations online. No valet. No help with luggage. Was told I could request roll away before reservations then told No after checking in. The first room eventhough was non smoking smelt like marijuana. Hard mattress. Room service was atrocious came in a bag like covid days. Food was worse got a molten lava cake old dry bundt with choc syrup squirted the the hole. Salad in box with no dressing. Churros ok. Breakfast the next morning was mediocre especially considering the original pancakes house is just down the street. Young waitress was very pleasant though. Aliso has no attractions and is not close to anything especially the beach. How do you stay open??

Great place in a great location!

However, feels very busy since the sports club has regular members in and out and sometimes you might run into someone not nice.

I liked that we had access to the workout facility, but I don’t usually work out on vacation. Unfortunately, our room was not cleaned after our first night. No one told (till check out) that we had to request service. Because of not being cleaned, we had to ask for more towels, didn’t get an additional water bottle, didn’t have coffee and creamer, and ran out of lotion.

Hi! Amazing stay and hotel! The only small thing to note is the air conditioner can be very loud in the executive suite but the rooms are AMAZING, amenities are amazing, the staff is wonderful and so helpful and kind. Will definitely stay again!

Wow! This place is amazing! We could have just stayed at the hotel all day. Between the gym, the classes, the pool, the coffee bar, we fell in love. Would highly recommend for a fitness minded couple or a family needing some fun activities.

I would definitely return when visiting California again.

When we got to our room there was a small moth under the blankets, we altered the front desk & they responded within minutes with a new room no questions asked. New room was clean, quiet & very comfortable. Nice pool, spa services are great.

My mother and I went for a swim in the lap pool, which was so clean, then we hit the jacuzzi tub (oh my goodness, heaven!!!) After we went to dinner on the patio area, so clean, staff was so accommodating and friendly. Food and drinks were so good. Our room was very nice, thank you Guatelupe for the service. (Only thing was the water pressure wasnt as strong) but after taking time to enjoy the other amenities nothing was going to ruin our mommy/daughter time. I will be back with the husband next time!! Ohhh I almost forgot the elevators are so cool, light and sound... Felt like royalty. Thank you to all the kind and helpful staff from the moment we arrived to the time we left.

Amazing property, top level customer service, beautiful amenities. One of the worst hotel showers I’ve ever showered in, it took forever just to get my scalp wet let alone get the shampoo out. They really need to work on increasing their water pressure in the shower. Outside of that everything else was amazing and I would come back
