Grand Targhee Resort

It was a fun getaway with my husband. All the amenities close really early. It would have been cool to watch the sunset from the top of the peak via the chairlift. Restraunts close early, its beautiful there, it was also our first time traveling here.

The area is stunning & the location is beyond convenient

The person above us made a lot of noise walking around the room- wooded creaky floors! Trash behind the night stand. Bed not very comfortable. Pretty resort though.

I love that there was so many things for us to do, it was a perfect stop and they had great food. I do wish we would’ve had ac in our room, but the rooms were clean and well maintained.

Bathroom exhaust fan was not working, no elevator to carry luggage. I have to go up and down with stairs multiple times to carry our luggage to 4th floor.

I had to cancel and there was no hope of a refund, credit or anything

Millwork, carpeting…) but wha they had was clean and maintained. Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly.

Room was very dirty smelled very very outdated Pulled out small dresser between beds hunting for an outlet found trash and bottles.Blanket over bed smelled Very disappointed.

Night drive are bit scary to the resort. Overall it was good

Clean room and friendly, helpful staff. However, the window AC unit ran all night and was quite noisy, which made it difficult to sleep.

Overall was a nice place to stay.

We stayed here because all the Jackson Hole places were booked. It was a good hour and a half drive from there for our two days in Jackson, but the scenic drive up the mountain made it fun...it's a ski resort and we were travelling at the end of the summer season.

The location was excellent. Staff and check in was great! The restaurant served delicious food. The hotel itself is dated. There is no a/c and the walls are thin. Can hear people outside the room knocking on doors, talking and every time someone turns the water on or flushed the toilet next door. These were the only disadvantages. If you’re a heavy sleeper, you’ll be ok in regards to the noise.

Particularly since we were at the resort during an "elbow season" (week before Labor Day) without a lot of occupancy, the staff were very attentive and helpful. The shuttle was awesome. The only issue we felt was the room was a bit dated.

Enjoyable stay

Great place. Fun time in the outdoors. My only issue was that the bar/grill and general store needed to stay open longer.

I only stayed one night at the property. Got in around 8pm and staff were excellent. I still had time to hit the pool area before closing. Beautiful property with plenty of activity. Room was excellent and breakfast was large portions. Definitely plan on staying here again in the future.

The environment was very calm and inviting. The views and weather of the location were definitely a big plus for this location

Enjoyed the hot tub. Very quiet. Drive up from Alta is full of switchbacks so arrive before dark and also see the west side of the Teton mountains. Great walking and biking paths all over the mountain. Helpful front desk staff.
