Clean rooms and the pool was fantastic.

Staff was good

I would just suggest the pool staying open later on the weekends in the summer. And a coffee stand separate from the restaurant. But we love the golf course and the bar is great! We’ll be back!

Being in Montana you would expect a steakhouse restaurant to be able to cook a steak to order. Unfortunately, med rare comes as medium well to well done. Then when they try to fix it comes out blue rare to rare. When you are paying $300+ for dinner, I expect better quality and customer service support when things don’t go as they should. If you are wanting to use the simulators, they close them early, or say they aren’t available because the staff at the pro shop is busy drinking and playing themselves. Also, when booking online and paid in advance it states the stay is $300/night but then when we checked in the paperwork showed the rate is only $146. Again, the quality just isn’t what is expected from a Fairmont. Next time we are in town to play Old Works we will stay at another hotel.

Great place to take kids!

The large outdoor pool was open and available but surrounded by construction fences with no views. The site could use a coffee cart or a station with good coffe, we had to drive to Anaconda to get our morning cup.

Wonderful place

The heater in the elevator was on and it was going full blast making the elevator uncomfortable. The WiFi on the property did not work well. Staff was fantastic though.

It was clean. The pools were very nice but the food was very over priced I thought.

I had reserved 2 king suites and paid for them prior to checkin. One of our rooms ended up being a smaller room with a queen. The staff person was new and indicated she wasn’t quite up to speed yet on everything. She gave me 4 keys for 2 room all coded the same which we found a bit odd. If the were younger kids and I needed to get into the room, that’s one thing, but the other party were in their 50’s. You’re sort of in a captured venue, so the food prices were quite high at the property. 1lb of wings and an order of two large taquitos were $50! Building and current pools are definitely showing there age however, 3 new pools are being built and it sounds like phase 2 will redo the interior pools later in the year. In the past, it felt like this place sort of went above and beyond to meet their guest needs. It just didn’t feel this way this time. Staff are less friendly, some seem to have an attitude that they would rather be anywhere else then at work. Anyway, in past I would give this place a 4.5 out of 5, but now I’m more in the 3 out of 5 rating. Maybe things will get better once new pools and other work are completed.

Asked for a handicap accessible room and was told none were available so the front desk went a head and put me in a room at the end of the building, as far from the elevator as you can get. Made my stay harder to get around and limited my ability to enjoy any amenities. Not very accommodating to my limited physical abilities.

Awesome love stopping here

The few staff members we came in contact with provided EXCELLENT SERVICE and one maintenance staff member, named Marcus, let us know we had a flat tire and the proceeded to change it in the resort parking lot for us as we didn’t know how. He also referred us to a tire repair store. We offered him some cash for the assistance but he refused it. What a great guy and an asset to his employer.

The pools were nice with the ability to choose indoors or out, the golf course is great and there are other options for families like mini golf, and a play area. Overall the property is dated but nice enough. The restaurant options a good too.
