Very unusual property with various buildings spread out through the village. The room was quite good. The only complaint is that the hotel is very understaffed and there was little help available in certain areas. For example, we had to carry kayaks and find paddles and life jackets ourselves because there was not a single person working on the boat area.

Love all of the extra touches. Staff is VERY helpful and responsive.

just fantastic, I can't wait to stay again.

The pic on the website of expedia and hotel did not match. If you are not in the main building then you are very far from the lake and spa. No breakfast in the hotel, Not at all freindly staff when you check in, we checked in at 11 o'clock at night and they didn"t help us with our luggage. rooms were so so small....

The Inns of Aurora is situated along beautiful Cayuga Lake; the historic property is pristine, charming, and peaceful. My daughter and I absolutely loved the Spa and wish we had been able to spend more time there. The restaurant was great, and we enjoyed the activities offered. The staff was friendly and helpful. Communication could have been a little better regarding activities, check-in/check-out procedures, and spa packages.

Overpriced and under-whelming. The room was comfortable but very small given the nightly rate. Breakfast was only a selection of bagels with a choice of fillings (I had the salmon bagel which was good but, again, under-whelming given this is supposed to be a luxury hotel. We will not stay there again nor recommend it.

However, the restaurants connected with the hotel are okay at best. The fine dining restaurant was okay & had decent food, yet nothing wowed me it really missed the mark for excellent food at a fine dining restaurant. The pub restaurant was good, anything with brisket is excellent but again some of the other choices are missing components that could make the food really good. I had the artichoke and shrimp salad and was looking forward to something different, but it was just blah, it needs a better dressing and maybe feta cheese or something else added to bring the salad together. Staff were excellent at the pub.

Over the top staff. Inspiring renovations. Needs accessible pool without adding a daily fee. Seated breakfast options would be great.

Love the history and how well the property was maintained. Available restaurant options was ok. But again. It’s not NYC. Highly recommend.
-
Nice hotel, well maintained and clean. Resort fee is a complete rip-off. No breakfast to speak of except a store next door. Restaurant for diner was quite good. Expensive
-
The only downside was our meal at the restaurant where the food was decent but not great.
-
Simply perfect in every respect.

There is a small deli. Offerings are limited and a bit pricey. One bar in town. That’s it. No drugstore, grocery store, or any other mercantile establishments. Union Springs is 8 miles up the road. There is a spa (expensive). All in all, a quiet retreat for a few days for an older crowd.

The property is beautiful! The rooms are spacious and very nice. Lovely place!!!!!
-
Very well maintained. Very helpful staff. Very expensive. Not much to do in the immediate town (especially if the weather is not great). I recommend the dinner at Aurora Cooks. Lovely experience
