Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Austell - Powder Springs by IHG

This was a quick stay (arrived late, left early) but the amenities seemed well maintained and the staff was extremely friendly.

Everything was clean and comfortable.

Property is in a good place easy to access and yet quiet. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Didn’t eat breakfast, pool area was clean, staff friendly and knowledgeable.

We had a few problems. First, the sink in the bathroom was slow draining. However it was fixed in less than 24 hours. The big one was: The elevator stopped working and we were on the 3rd floor. It didn't work for at least 3 days. We had to go up and down the stairs. My wife is dealing with medical knee issues so this was not good. However, the staff was very friendly. We don't plan on returning any time soon.

Ladies handling the breakfast were excellent. Very attentive, courteous and helpful. Asked if we needed anything else before they closed.

Great rate

I only stayed one night. My stayed was nice, room/bathroom was very clean, no issues at all. Staff was nice and very professional. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area again. Free parking and breakfast! Very nice hotel, had a great experience!

Check in 3pm & check out 11am which I thought was great, breakfast was awesome with gravy & biscuits, eggs & omelettes & pancakes, staff was very friendly, beds very comfortable

When to begin. When we arrive and got assigned our room on the first floor, we opened the door and the room reeked of something soured and the beds were not made. The smell was so bad, it almost made me sick and I wasn’t even in the room but a matter of seconds. We had to be put in a different room. This room was bigger, but with its own issues. The air conditioner unit was leaking all over the carpet and it was wet on the carpet as you tried to get in the bed. I got more towels from the guy at the counter and explained what was going on in the room. He said he would come look at it; he never showed. The towel rack in the bathroom would not stay on the wall as the Sheetrock got wet at some point and the screws wouldn’t stay in the wall. I was very disappointed in this hotel, especially considering how much a room for one night was.

It’s very good.. I liked it

The room was clean. One the main reasons I chose this hotel was so my daughter could play in the pool. The whole stay the pool was shutdown because it wasn’t clean. If I had known about the pool I would’ve chosen another hotel

The staff was courteous, the hotel was clean and modern. The only downside there's only one elevator but otherwise excellent hotel for a quick stop in town and conveniently located to numerous shops and restaurants.

Great place to stay

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and willing to help, more so that most hotels where I have stayed. Though our room was on the lower level near the fitness center, our room was quiet and restful. The location is convenient to most of Northwest Metro Atlanta.

Close to Lionheart Church and Austell Farmers Market.
