Deer Valley Lodge & Golf

This by far was one of the cleanest and quietest hotel rooms we've slept in. Breakfast had a great selection of items. The pool water temp and area were warm but not too warm. A perfect place for families to stay who need a little more than a pool to keep the kiddos occupied.

The hotel is nice and cool, it s just that it s full of kids and they re very loud in the pool area, u cant enjoy your time there. Staff was not very kind but wasnt rude also.

The air seemed to do its own thing during the nite

Everything was wonderful. The bed was not as comfortable as my bed at home but otherwise I really liked staying there.

No sound insulation so you could hear people walking upstairs. The breakfast was not great.

Place is nice

The hotel was nice, clean and quiet. It's a little out dated, but still very nice. They have a very nice pool and hot tub area and a decent breakfast.

Love the pool and slides. Breakfast was a plus and very delicious. I have no complaints. We had a blast and it was a great family get together.

We had a room for two adults and two children but only 3 bath towels. There is a pub for beverages and snack food but no employees to have it open yet signs all over that no outside food or beverage allowed in pool area. Not many options in town.

Breakfast is standard, but I’d say it’s plentiful. One thing I think is worth mentioning: the lady at the front desk told me that coffee was free all day for guests and that I could let her know when it ran out, so that alone deserves 5 stars from me.

We stayed here because of an event our family had in Barneveld, WI. It was good. The linens were a bit tired but clean. The pool and hot tub were kept decently clean though the kids on the weekends pretty much took the place over. The staff were helpful with what the area had to offer. I would stay here again.

location of the hotel and being together on the same floor breakfast was a bit underwhelming. need to beef up that part of the hotel

The hotel was fairly well priced for our one night, was near where we wanted to go, and most importantly the room was actually in a good state when we got to it. The A/C wasn't blasting making it extremely cold and damp, it was clean, and for probably the 1st time this summer on our sporting event travels, we were actually comfortable. If we are back in the area, I will look into this location again. No issues as far as I was concerned.

Old property with musty rooms. When we arrived, there was nobody at the desk or in the lobby. It was empty. I rang the desk bell. Then I called the reservation line. Eventually someone emerged (holding a pizza). I stood at the desk for almost an hour while they figured out how the computer worked and how to check us in. It was a tough night.

Hot tub was nice and relaxing

Towels were meager. Signage was poor

The staff were hard-working and extremely responsive. The breakfasts were delicious and adequate. The mattress in my room gave me good sleep, but was not a firm mattress like I am used to.
