I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bartow, and to say I was thoroughly impressed would be an absolute understatement. From the moment I pulled into the pristine, beautifully landscaped parking lot, I knew I was in for a premium experience. This property sets the absolute gold standard for what a hotel stay should be, and I cannot brag enough about every single aspect of my visit!First and foremost, the customer service is completely unmatched. The front desk staff welcomed me with genuine, radiant smiles and an efficiency that made check-in a total breeze. They went completely above and beyond to make me feel valued, providing fantastic local recommendations and checking in to ensure my stay was going perfectly. It is incredibly rare to find a team that is this professional, warm, and deeply dedicated to hospitality. They treat you like royalty here!The accommodations were nothing short of spectacular. Room and bed were very comfortable. Personally enjoyed breakfast.

I didn't like the smell of the pillows.

Room appeared to be pretty clean, until the roaches came out. Had 2 I spotted in the bed and one that ran across the night stand which ruined any good thoughts I had about this place. I told the front desk and she offered me points (I don’t know how many and honestly don’t care about “points”). Said she would talk to the GM when you arrived. She did offer to move me rooms, but I was checking out that morning.

Breakfast was great! Staff was very nice. I didn't like the pillows at all. They were very flat. I had to stack 3 pillows to feel comfortable.

I attempted to move my stay date many days prior to my reservation and they refused even though they knew I could not make it on that date. Terribly inflexible and unfair in my view. They just wanted to keep my money.

So they have a 10 pm quite time but would do nothing to enforce it. The noise did not stop until almost 2 am. I would have hoped that they could at least made a phone call or went up to speak with the group but absolutely nothing was done.

Victoria the front desk clerk was amazing and very helpful. The breakfast was good and room was nice. Very close to stores and our destination. We picked this hotel because we were in town for a travel ball tournament. We were looking forward to the pool. Sadly we never got to even use the pool because someone before us decided to use the pool as a toilet! Could use better pillows and the hotel is much smaller than it looks online.

The king size room was a good size, beds and pillows were very comfy. Shower/bathroom needs updating. More towels needed to be provided upon initial arrival. We had requested a cancellation for one of our nights and the hotel denied it for some reason even though we did it in a timely manner. So we were forced to stay in that location longer than we needed to.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.
