The room was ok

Problems were related to delay in check in

Hollywood Casino is always a good stop. The lazy river with a swim up bar provides a great way to spend an afternoon before hitting the casino.
-
Location Needs updating, bed was lumpy and bouncy. Shower curtain was falling down.
-
The rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable. I will say the staff was very friendly and helpful. Due to previous planned events were were not able to use any of the amenities.

I also did not like that there was only 1 attendant at the hotel desk - this was at check in and check out. I can see having one attendant during the work week, but on a weekend, there was a line and the wait was lengthy. On Sunday there were two attendants, but there must've been an issue and one attendant needed the assistance of the other and I waited 25 minutes to get a receipt at check out. The issues were minor, but when you're spending over $300/night for a night's stay - those issues should not occur, in my opinion. You can do better, Hollywood, BSL.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS EBOLA FACTORY!

Everything was great, our room, the reasturants, the pool, and staff!

Hollywood Casino Bay St Louis is your typical casino resort. We found it clean although terribly smoky smelling. The room was sufficient but didn’t contain the small refrigerator or microwave that most hotels do. There were 4 people in our room but only towels for 3. The pool/lazy River is beautiful. Hollydeck is a fun relaxing space.

We were told inaccurate information prior to check in when calling the resort regarding the age of children allowed and the adult only time in the pool and lazy river. We were going to have our children and grand children join us but because we have a couple grandchildren under 5 and were told that after 6:00 pm they were not allowed in the pool, they decided not to join us. This was father's day weekend and would have been nice to have them with their Dad and I. Upon check in, the resort fee, early check in and incidentals were charged to our card. However, there were more charges that became pending during our stay. When applying things to the room, I assumed it would go toward the incidental ($100). Not the case. By the time we checked out, there was almost $500.00 being held on my card and had to wait for them to drop off to get the final tally. We were not advised of this prior to it happening. The only draw of the buffet are the king crabs and shrimp.

Staff at front desk was unfriendly and confrontational. Room and lobby smelled of smoke. No luggage carts available at check in or check out. Buffet was not open every day. Pool area was dirty and not well maintained. Not enough umbrellas for the amount of tables in the pool area.
-
Parking was awful. Only 2 pool passes per room. Casino was very small.
-
Room was spacious and very clean. Staff was incredible.
-
Love the move of the check in desk. There was one draw on the TV cabinet that would not close.
-
no iron or ironing board. Lack of lighting in room.
-
The hotel had hair in the bed and hair from a person shaving in soap dish

Im going to start off letting you know my check in had already jaded my stay so the rest of the time was judged by that. It started by them being 2 hours late to let us check in. So im already mad im not even getting the full night i paid for. Carpet was very old and ripped. Toilet was running all night and wouldn't flush worth a damn. Wife said the walls were thin and could hear everything but she says that every where we stay. All in all not a great experience. A good bit of the staff were rude.
-
Beds were uncomfortable, temperature in the room, chair in the foyer was filthy in the cushion area Crabs at the buffet were hard to peel.
-
No coffee Pool cost extra

Room was not ready till 9:30 PM and the bed is short one sheet. Staff at desk was quite unprofessional.
