Deluxe Inn & Suites Baytown

First issue was the two extra charges for our children. Picked the hotel specifically to save on money, and then they charged extra for the kids. Roaches in the room. Terrible smell. Sink was clogged. Didn’t even stay the full booked length. We went to another hotel.

We arrived and had to wait for someone to finally come from the back room to check in almost 10 minutes. I wrote the amount of guests on her sheet of paper needing the license plate number. She then stated that I didn’t put the right number of guests on the reservation. I told her it was 4 which is what the room allowed even after showing her another reservation at their own place that the price would be the same for 4 guests she insisted that it’s a $5 fee per kid (we had 2) I asked her why and she stated it was a damage deposit fee which didn’t make sense because the damage fee was posted on their window which didn’t state anything about children. She says I would get it back since it was cash when I checkout. I went to check out and the guy knew nothing about it. We were in a hurry for a tournament game I didn’t have time to fight about $10 but we definitely won’t recommend this place. They were so worried about “damage” when the room had paint peeling, a broken sink, and rust in and out of the tub. Really?! She was also adamant about “no guests” saying it about 5 times just checking in. They have no blankets on the bed, it was literally the thin bed cover that most people remove along with a thin bed sheet so make sure to take your own blankets. Only good thing about this place was the location for the venues of the tournament. I would’ve gladly paid a little extra to stay somewhere else if it wasn’t too late to cancel. Especially since there wasn’t even a pool to enjoy.

Nice staff. Conveniently located. Nice furniture, flooring. Didn’t need it but nice that it had a small kitchen & refrigerator. Bed uncomfortable. Whole in bathroom door. Towels thin & scratchy.

The room was very spacious and clean. Love the location and the staff is very nice. The mattress on the bed is hard and the blanket had cigarette burn holes.

Excellent service everyone is exceptionally nice, rooms are beyond my expectations i highly recommend, front desk lady who by the way is my new BFF, was very helpful and extremely polite and patient!

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! Roaches everywhere! Outdated everything rust and mold everywhere! They moved us to a different room and promised it was better but woke up to more roaches! And it was Christmas!!
