This was a great stay for us while going to a concert at Beech! The only downside was the fact that there wasn't any A/C but it is cooler on the mountain. The facility is dated but was really clean.

This is an older hotel and, as such, so were the amenities. That being said, our room was wonderful! Everything worked without any problems. Good water pressure, hot water, and everything we needed for our brief stay. Despite the older hotel, it was very clean and well kept. Amazing place to stay when passing through or as a base camp for hiking the nearby trails

Clean rooms. However it is dated. Restaurant is permanently closed on site.

The curtains were falling off the rod. There wasn’t a waste basket in the bathroom. No tissues, no ac. The room was at least 80 degrees when I got there, closed up, horrible.
-
One of the most uncomfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Carpet was filthy.

I guess it just had a bad experience, late check-in was a nightmare? They respond like 1.5 hours later after a bunch of calls, the main problem was the A/C was broken and in summer our room was a steam room. The carpet smelled and was all stained. They just need to upgrade the hotel. Too bad.

Nice old place with missing amenities!

Great location

** Spacious, double floor room with stairs Cons of room 208: ** No AC, but there were two box fans (fans were extremely dirty, three guests have allergies & asthma) ** Shower head in bathroom on the bottom floor needs to be replaced, barely any water came out ** Sofa bed was horrendous and needs to be replaced, springs and mattress were so old that it was like sleeping in a bowl, 1 person decided to sleep on the floor ** Main room door was very difficult to lock from both the inside (turn knob) and outside (old-fashioned key) ** Teenagers in our group said the hotel and room were very creepy, so they slept with the lights on

They are supposed to be renovating by the winter. Hopefully by then this review will be no longer accurate. It is old and very dated no air-conditioning. They do have ceiling fans. The bathroom and kitchen were clean but the carpets the couch we’re old did have a full-size refrigerator if you’re looking for a place to lay down for the evening and take a shower it’ll get you through the night.

The hotel is a dump: dirty, musty smelling and the spiral staircase in the 2 story “suite” was dangerous to use. We ended up using the top half of the room only one night. We advised the night clerk, Judge, a very nice young man, to refund us the balance of the 4 night stay and he agreed to refund us. We left at 6 am the following morning. We tried to find a morning clerk to confirm and there was a sign with an emergency number. No one was there so we could not get a receipt or speak to anyone. We did have good hot water but the TV cable stopped working, there was 1 extension chord to plug in whatever - we used it for the CPAP so we had no table lamp. We slept with all the windows open so we could breathe - the musty smell was so pungent. The bathroom was small and toilet was very low and difficult if you have issues standing, which my husband does. It was hard for him to fit in the bathroom (6’2” 265lbs). The room in Short was uninhabitable. The outside the room stairs were not current code of the rise and run and made them different to traverse. There was supposed to be coffee in the morning in the lobby - nothing. In short: AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!!!

Easy check in, clean, helpful staff.

Excellent location, very accommodating for our trip to Beech Mtn for the concert. It was an awesome stay for the price. Will definitely stay here again for ski season.

This photos of this property were not accurate. The property is rundown and dated. The room had dirty rugs, electric outlets missing (we had to request an extension cord) and we couldn’t open the window-which had no screen anyway. I’m sure the 4 seasons had its day, but it is need of major updating. There is no outdoor area and the attached restaurant is closed.

This place has a pretty view if your room is on the front side. There is no air in this facility which was not stated up front. It wasn't that hot when we were there so it was fine. There are fans in the closet. Beds weren't that comfortable and there was no coffee on Sunday. Overall our stay was good but this facility could certainly use some updating.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. It was not clean - The carpet was stained - the TV did not work - The shower head had no sprayer head in it, was like a garden hose, unusable - no Air conditioning and box fan provided did not work. electrical outlet in room loose in wall. dirty windows with broken screens that could not be opened.. every request for answers was met with a negative response from desk clerk . would not give me a receipt for checking out 2 days early. I am requesting a refund for the 2 days we had booked and could not stay because my spouse had bug bites from the room. AND NOT FROM MOSQUITOES AS THE CLERK SUGGESTED !!!!! I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in the US and many other countries, and this is by far the worst. DONT STAY HERE...

It had so much rustic charm! The only thing I maybe could complain about would be the trash cans in our room hadn’t been emptied but other than that everything was fabulous.

This is the perfect getaway for any occasion. We enjoyed the location, the beautiful views, the quiet atmosphere and the majestic wildlife that passed by. Everything we could ever need was already provided. The staff was very friendly & professional. We enjoyed our stay so much, we never wanted it to end! Cannot wait to book our next visit. See you soon 4 Seasons at Beech Mountain 😍😍

The view from our room was really nice and the room was a decent size, we did enjoy the open area floor plan of our room and the peaceful vibe the property gave. The parking in the back was close to the door which was very nice. We had a full kitchenette and a normal size fridge. The only issues we had were the AC unit in our room did not cool the room very well at all, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were extremely flat.
