Great property!

Overall, I thought the property was beautiful and well kept. Our room was clean although our refrigerator had some issues and was pretty beat up and old and had rust in it. The barbecue was not clean. And I feel for the price point that you could probably use a refresh in the rooms… Getting a little outdated the pool area was nice and well kept the lobby and staff were exceptional. The spa was not worth the price. It is not a spa experience and the massages were average at best. In hindsight, I should have looked at reviews before booking the spa treatments. I would definitely make sure you stopped at a store before staying in a villa if you plan on eating in at all because the store on site is very small. I would consider it more of a small gift shop with a cooler full of a few choices for drinks and food. I loved that they were dog friendly, and the grounds were beautiful and very well kept. Our server at the family pool were great and they were a little understaffed and they remained calm through it all. I would definitely stay here again, but I would probably shop for a deal on price.

Needed more helpful staff at the golf course. We were just sent off with no directions … had to ask for practice area … just really didn’t feel very special. We worked it out and the course was well maintained.

The room itself was nice but for what I paid I expected more. This is supposed to be a 4 star resort but the amenities do not meet that bar. First the restaurants and spa have limited hours/operational day so not ideal for late night drinks or if you want a spa treatment on an off day. Also the door on the spa’s sauna was broken and I had to hold it closed in order to keep the steam in which was not conducive to relaxation. I also don’t like how room cleaning was defaulted to every 3 days, for a place marketed as a luxury resort I expected this basic service everyday. The staff was professional, the facilities were clean, and I did enjoy my facial and the saltwater pool but the service and facilities were average or lacking and certainly not worth the price

The service was terrible and the hotel is not clean. No soap/ shampoo in the dispensers, no buckets for ice, 2 coffee pods total in a double room with no service to the room for 3 days. The barista at the coffee bar didn’t know how to make a latte and they don’t have drip coffee. The next day they had coffee drinks but no straws. Barista admitted he just hadn’t had a chance to grab them. We attended a wedding and the chicken was rock hard and inedible. At the Trailhead restaurant we had the same server twice that didn’t want to be there and forgot utensils both times so we had to wait for him to mosy back before we could eat. The grounds are beautiful but the staff clearly aren’t well trained or just don’t care. Do not recommend.

Remote but absolutely beautiful and luxurious.

Beautiful and a wonderful place to stay. The major downfall for me was that the price of both food and beverage was extraordinarily high.

The property is lovely. Those who were working were kind. The toilet in our room was broken and ran every 17 minutes all night long. We told the desk and they left us a note that the toilet was fixed. However, upon entering the room we discovered that our room was not made up - probably because it was being serviced when the cleaning staff was in the area and it just got missed but, the toilet now ran every minute all night long, albeit, not as loud as the night before. We were also very short on towels with zero hand towels and wash cloths. Juniper Preserve is a nice facility and with these items corrected I am sure it will make for a lovely stay for someone. I did again inform the desk prior to check-out. I was disappointed that there was zero compensation for these issues. I would have comped a night, offered a pastry and coffee drink for the guests travel, etc. Hospitality goes a long ways!

Absolutely loved every bit of it

If you are traveling in the summer for the pool with kids, it’s only open until 8, yet the adult pool is open until 10? I’d say not a family friendly hotel option. There was also a wedding the weekend we stayed and after reporting our 1k a night room was thumping at 1am and screaming and laughter, the staff ignored the first request and then the second call they must have told I reported it. Traveling as a single mother with her son, the loud neighbors proceeded to bang on my door, run along the lawn and pored a sticky white substance on my car. I was scared as there was no way to leave without walking through the courtyard where they were and calling 911 would have further scared my son. The staff did nothing but escalate the harassment. Very disappointing. Beautiful grounds, assume great if you golf. Decent food, no room service and never enough staffing for quick service in dine in: coffee was great.

This hotel is 5 star hotel for a reason. It is an understated first class hotel. A hotel that a famous person could enjoy without being bothered by others. A little challenging to find the hotel, but worth it.

One of the best properties to stay in Central Oregon!

Great property!
-
Perfect for a getaway..and Golf. Nice pool area for adults with a view to the cascades. Great resort. Too far from any highway. Beds are perfect but pillows are not the best quality.
-
Beautiful property in a very interesting area Food and beverage could be better executed particularly considering the prices
-
Pretty hotel and little village Very long bumpy driveway. Beds and pillows are not what I would expect for the price and level

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were amazing! I would definitely stay here again.

It’s a bit on the outskirts to Bend, but if you want peaceful and clean, you gotta check it out.

The property is absolutely gorgeous and the amenities are amazing! We had so much fun in the pools and they have a cool rock waterslide for kids. The hot tub could fit 30 people and was the perfect temperature. They had an outdoor fire pit that you could sit at during the evenings and you could see all the stars they had live music come in to the bar area, which was really cool. The food at the trailhead grill was amazing and they smoke their meats in house. We had the brisket it was delicious with whiskey barbecue sauce ! We rented the bikes and rode the 5 mile trail around the property and it was beautiful and the price was very reasonable at $15 for the rental per bike And our most favorite memorable experience of this trip was the cave tour!!! I highly recommend it was a personal tour just for the two of us and Tracy was an amazing guide. We got to see a porcupine sleeping in the cave and she showed us the two swans that live on property , we picked herbs and made sage bundles and then we ended with a sound bath, which was a cool experience that we've never done before. We will be coming back to Juniper Preserve, everything about the trip was 10 out of 10 and the Lodge is absolutely gorgeous!
