Crowne Plaza Suites Pittsburgh South by IHG

I stayed here 3 nights and housekeeping never cleaned my room. It wasn't a big deal, until I realized someone stole my Airpods out of my backpack that was in the room. They are not very responsive in trying to get the issue resolved, but did admit a cleaning person took them home when I shared where they were located.

The breakfast was excellent! Fresh fruit & pastries are fantastic!!! Took some for the flight home. I would definitely come stay here again

Crown Plaza Suites Pittsburgh South-The room was clean and the public areas were bright and well maintained. Staff was very helpful and respectful of my request for privacy. The exterior of the hotel and parking lot were not as impressive (in my opinion) so it detracted a little from the experience of staying at this nice hotel, but overall, I give the place a thumbs up. Additionally, its close proximity to a mall and other shopping was a plus.

We have stayed here on several visits to Pittsburgh. Front desk and breakfast staff always friendly. Rooms are always clean and the breakfast is good. We definitely recommend staying here..

The room was very clean, but not that big, we had a room with 2 queens and it was a little tight with three adults. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and breakfast had a nice selection.

The location was great with lots of local options. The staff were all great and very helpful. The restaurant had excellent service. The TV was not a modern TV with options like YouTube or any online apps. It was very old. The pool was a bit small but the excellent gym made up for it.

My room was clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Convenient location

Hotel was very worn down. I had cobwebs on every corner of my ceiling, rugs were dirty with crumbs, chair looked like there was a cat in the room that scratched it all up, orange stains on my sheets, mold around my window and the ac unit had a broken peice that was on the floor. There were stains all over walls in room. There was hair on my toilet when I first got there. No remote for the tv and walls were paper thin. Didn’t sleep much due to a crying baby and parents arguing with their teen at 5am. Location was great but that’s about it.

Loved the location!! 3 to 4 minutes from good restaurants, and supermarket! Nice mall across the street!! I will stay there again!!

Breakfast was good and there was a decent variety of options to choose from. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I liked that the room was pretty soundproof and you could not hear guests in other rooms, especially since there were receptions going on downstairs. The shower was a bit disappointing. The water pressure was not great. I'm short so the placement of the shower head being up so high left the water pressure that was there, at the top.

The carpets in the room and hallway were pretty worn. They did look clean.

Welcoming staff that gladly accommodated our early check in. Friendly in every interaction we had with them

2nd room (2nd floor) shower worked, but water did not turn off. I asked for another room. 3rd room (2nd floor), the air handling (AC) did not work, and after 10 minutes of maintenance trying to fix it, I walked to the lobby w/a req for another room. At some point between rooms 1-3, I was told they had no more rooms at the rate/configuration I had booked - not my problem. I was finally provided with a suite in working order (9th floor, extended-stay section). The 2nd floor clearly had not been recently renovated - other floors were much brighter and welcoming.
