Hotel needs renovation/updating. Rooms are surface clean but need a thorough cleaning. Carpets grout crevices are pretty dirty.

Serious need of updating. Also, shampoo/body wash bottles were empty just as the milk and half & half at breakfast were empty. It was lovely being on the lake and the pool was nice, but the accommodations need help.

It’s a place with a beautiful view

We chose the property for the beach and pool access as we were there for a week. Unfortunately the beach access was washed away and was not available; the pool was also smaller than it appeared on the website and very small and packed. We knew the property was a 3-star, but the smell of marijuana was so overpowering around our room and the bed linens and room were pretty old. We chose to move to another hotel for the week.

Staff did not seem well trained.

Excellent place for family trips. Very recommended. Good pool, views and hiking trails.

staff were friendly, grounds were a little messy and not kept up lots of ants around and games to do outside missing stuff. Boat rental place was a joke bad storms rolled in with lightning and high winds would not refund money even though no boats were able to leave. only give rain check. If you live close by that's fine but not convenient living 5 hrs away. Rooms very ok some unrecognizable hair on sheets. The complementary breakfast is just cereal, yogurt, bread, coffee. Juice machine was broke. Only hotel around so they could do whatever they want and people will keep coming.

Park view meant parking lot view. Nicely redone pool, and lovely view of lake marina from restaurant and pool. Great blackout curtains. Quiet room. Water pressure and temperature were great. Friendly front desk.

Had to change rooms because the air conditioner didn’t work. Didn’t get the room I had reserved. Only had Continental breakfast on weekdays but very nice hot breakfast on weekends you pay for.

We have been here many times before, we love it . We were disappointed the pool was dirty this time around. I hope they can keep it cleaner and it will allow us to enjoy it better next time.

This place was not well managed and not well maintained.

The rooms are very dated and dingy. The pool looked a bit murky and very dated as well.

Lovely place to visit for peace and quiet.

We had a great time swimming and fishing

Wall between us (304) and next room (302) was not well soundproof. We could hear a lot of what they were saying & doing. We could hear them until after midnight on the 1st night of our stay. On 2nd night, it was quiet until they evidently returned to their room at 3am, and they proceeded to chatter away until 4am. I don't think they were speaking loudly, but the wall did not block a lot of their chatter. Needless to say we didn't get all that much sleep. Maybe a noise-after-midnight ordinance could be established, since soundproofing the walls would probably be prohibitive.

Nice location right on the water. Had restaurant over looking the water, food nothing to brag about but ok. Reasons for a 3 rating, the beds were short like camper beds. I'm 5'10" and unless my head was next to the headboard my feet were hanging off the end of the bed. Had little square pillows. Went to shower in the morning and bathroom floor was wet, had water dripping from ceiling. A/C unit was very loud when it kicked in, not normal , they switched us to a new room because of the water leak and new room had A/C with normal sound level. Asked for early check in, about 1 1/2 hour and it was $35 charge.

You need to overlook the obvious repair that needs to be made on the pool deck and the inconvenient elevator location for the third floor,It can be a long walk. On weekends there is no continental breakfast included. You will need to purchase breakfast. We did not. The restaurant has great patio seating and a very sunny window filled dining area. The food is average, the drinks are average. Although there is a sign that says no food in the pool area...if there are yuppy select baseball team parents there, they will do whatever they want, take over the whole pool area with their pizza party, kids running amuk and the staff will not care. Luckily they came later and it was dinner time so we left.
