This is a challenging review to write because the staff were very friendly and the property is beautiful, however we waited over 2 hours past when our room should have been ready, had scalding hot water only on the first night and then only luke warm throughout our stay and woke up to no electricity on our last day. It is a very expensive resort ( called 5 star) so these things should not happen. Plus we've heard nothing from them after reporting this.

We love the scenery, the location, the facilities, all the staffs are always smiling n friendly. Very helpful. We have my partner 70th birthday celebration there. They had treated us very nice. Sent over a bottles of champagne ?, desserts at the dinner, etc. It's just a perfect touch to make it special for my man.Thank you! It's a little buggy...there are little bugs/flies come around your face even when we played golf at the golf course. It's kind of annoying. I guess it's humid due to the summer time, plus very lush around the area.

Best of the Lowcountry. Food, staff and grounds never disappoint. It's top-notch all the way. A very relaxing, lovely vacation and the perfect place to recharge.

The site was very clean. Staff were very friendly. Pool area was nice, and we liked that there was an adult pool. Very pricey - and a little dull. Lots of unavoidable additional costs - eg a mandatory daily "valet parking" fee of $30 just for them to move the car from the front of the main building out to the carpark directly behind. They also removed our bikes from outside our room before the check out time - a bit strange!
