Sonesta Select Boca Raton Town Center

We traveled in from Texas to Boca Fl to the Sonesta hotel because we had heard good things about it, little did we know that once we got into our room it would be completely different from the reviews. The room was SO small that you could barely fit the luggage cart into the room, the furniture was TOO big for the small size room, we could barely move around. There where some kind of black marks on the bed sheets, the floor in the bathroom had wet spots on the floor, along with the tub still having water sitting in it, nor did the tub seem clean at all. Honestly the whole room could’ve used a lot better cleaning. As far as the staff, some of them had great attitudes and we enjoyed talking to them but some had ALOT of bad attitudes and you can tell that something else had them upset and they were taking it out on the guest. Overall the experience was ok but I can not say I will ever be back to this location or any Sonesta location.

Rooms are a bit run down. For mine, the mattress was shaped like a camel and shower curtain rod was falling off wall so curtain wouldn’t stay up. The woman at the front desk just acted bothered by my presence. The location is great! Rooms having balconies is awesome! Pool and hot tub area is nice!

Unfriendly front desk staff. I came at 3 pm and the lady said she is working on rooms and ask me to come at 3.30 pm. I asked her to give call . She asked my license and checked and said my room is not ready and did not ask my number. I was waiting there and went to desk when it is more than 30-45 minutes . She then checked and gave me the room. She should have called. When I asked room number she said it is on card in unprofessional way. She was very serious and sounded like she did not care. She just gave card without telling about room and how to go there.

A great place to stay! About a 15 minute drive to several beaches. Clean, very friendly staff. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Check in lady was extremely rude and room wasn’t fully cleaned. Bathroom shower did not turn off and ran.

This hotel was very disappointing. The property is poorly maintained, very under staffed.

The hotel was so bad we left and drove 3.5 home at 1130 pm instead of staying the night as planned. The entire hotel smelled like a toilet, the room was dirty, especially the shower and bathroom. There was soiled underwear next to our car in the parking lot & soiled towels on the floors of the hotel hallway. Hotel was getting pressure washed per the employee when we checked in so parking was sparse and there were workmen outside watching us unpack our car. It was very uncomfortable. When we left and checked out the employee was extremely rude, didn’t even ask why we were leaving, didn’t even say goodnight or goodbye. To throw away $120 and drive home in the middle of the night should be enough to describe this place.

Clean quiet place to stay. Great location.

The staff was friendly. Place was clean. Rooms get cold, which I love! Hot water with great pressure. (Shower head has different settings.) They offer a microwave in the main hall next to the ice instead of one being in the room which I thought odd but wasn’t much of an inconvenience. Overall I would recommend.

It was pretty clean for the most part and just what was needed for a one night stay. If I had to stay longer I would have liked a bigger room for 4.

It’s great place to stay plenty parking in evening , room spacious and clean, only inconvenience was microwave was near the lift instead of room. Had to walk to heat up my dinner.

Bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t working Rust around the tub drain and extremely loose faucet in tub/shower TV didn’t work first night and couldn’t be fixed until next day This was my second stay here and probably be the last

Front desk staff, when anyone actually bothers to be there, is amongst the rudest I have encountered. This goes double for the woman who sat in a booth in the dining area having an argument with her boyfriend while she left the desk unattended. Lobby coffee doesn't get refilled. No maid service in the room unless one asks for it, and when i did ask for if, I was told I needed to ask the day before. Nice property overall, let down by poor service.

Great stay.

Stuff was very friendly, everything was super clean. The only issue the rooms have no microwave I have to step out in the hallway to hit up my food. And the fridge too tiny can’t even handle a gallon of milk
