Allenberry Resort

Beautiful grounds but the room was mediocre at best. Our bathroom was dirty. The floor was not clean. There were two dead bugs in the shower/tub and one live bug on the floor. The bed was so uncomfortable I had to see my chiropractor for a special adjustment. I was actually sore from laying on the bed. It was a disappointing stay but fortunately we were just there for a night.

Overall, a great place to stay. We will be repeat customers for sure. However, one concern was the lack of a Keurig machine in the common area. All the support condiments were there; cups, creamer, etc.. however in spite of asking three different staff personnel during our stay, the Keurig machine never arrived. It would’ve been much handier to have it on site.

This was my only stay at Allenberry. I went to join a class on fly fishing. Everything about the resort was first class.

It was so peaceful walking the grounds & sitting by the river. Grounds were beautifully maintained. The Barn restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed the outside patio. Definitely would stay there again

The bed was comfortable. The room was large, clean, and had a refrigerator, plenty of lights, and mirrors. There was an outside pool, a dining area, and a cafe. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room had a musty smell, but was gone when the dehumidifier and ac was turned on.

A quaint property with amazing rooms and amenities. Just on the outskirts of Carlisle, PA, the Allenberry resort offers options not available in town - including an amazing restaurant, a pool, a full gym, and stool grounds along the river. Many outdoor activities to engage in or you can just sit in a number of quiet spots and enjoy nature. Other than a few persistent gnats in my room, the stay was perfection.

I will definitely be back! What an amazing property! It was lovely in every way!

I personally would have liked more options at the grab n go in the early morning.

Love this place, trout fishing is excellent and amenities are great. Nice bar and restaurant. Nice cafe. Cool setup there hot tub and sauna w cold plunge outside. Wonderful place can’t wait to go back.
