We were looking for a quaint little motel and Mid Town Motel was perfect. We were able to grab the last room which only had twin beds, but we didn’t mind for our short stay. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The employees were both helpful and friendly. We will definitely return.

Awesome place felt like a stay in a classic 1950s motel. The people who run the property are extremely accommodating and check in was smooth and easy

Clean simple room very close to everything in Boothbay Harbor, making a walkable vacation possible. Staff was very pleasant and friendly. I appreciated the towel refresh daily. I also appreciated having the community refrigerator and coffee maker available. It was nice to sit outside of the room in provided chairs as well. This is a simple place to stay with everything you need, dog friendly, too!

classic 1950 motel. AC was loud. Bath was minuscule and very dated. We paid over $200 a night for a $75 room. BUT everything in Booth Bay Harbor is way overpriced! Excellent location and ample parking which in BBH is a huge bonus.

1950s charm because that was the last time this place was updated. Shower was a phone booth. Toilet so close to the wall had to sit sideways. TV is your only amenity in the room. No food. Ice machine in the office which is locked after hours. Avoid at all costs.

For a single traveler this place is perfect to just crash and explore the area. Walking distance to town with parking.

And you had to run it. Very thin blanket was our only option. First and last time staying there

We have never had a room so small, no clock, coffee but had to go to office, no refrigerator, and had a fragrant plug in so strong that we placed it in the bathroom between the screen and window outside. We are not large people luckily .The bathroom was very small,

The room was reasonably convenient and affordable. The man in the office was quite accommodating and pleasant and he responded to my request for a 2nd blanket and provided assistance using the room key and help locating PBS NewsHour on the television. One screen in the room is detached from the bottom edge and could easily be repaired; the bathroom vinyl flooring could use a bit of sealer, but no big deal. The motel was quiet and the bed was comfortable. If I had had a car, rather than having to walk to the Boothbay Harbor Inn a short distance away where other family members were staying, there was sufficient parking at the motel. The heater and AC were functional. It's an old building that could use some additional upgrading. I live in a 126 yr old home in the Boston area that I have kept upgraded for 49 years; I understand that it can be costly and time consuming to upgrade, but I think it pays off.

A lot of other people in our party were staying in inns and AirBnB's around town. We loved that our motel was so much cheaper and located right in town. It was clean and nostaligic, and the service was great. It wasn't fancy by any means. Mini-fridges in the room would be nice, and the shower was quite small.

Close proximity to town center Clean Tiny bathroom It would be great if room tv had streaming built into tv
-
Dripping shower, broken outdoor furniture and rooms are very small.

Do not book the room with the queen sized bed. It is too small to fit the bed, nightstand, chair and two adults. It is located behind the office as kind of an after thought & better suited for a single bed and one person. We asked to be moved and were given a king sized bed room at no extra charge, which was nice. The place is definitely dated, lacks in-room amenities like a coffee maker & mini fridge, but these things are available for community use in the office. The location is great and we were able to walk all over the Harbor to everything we wanted to do, eat good food and enjoy the friendly people.
-
Very clean room. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Very convenient to walk into town. Excellent air conditioning since we stayed in 80+ outside temperatures.

The railing in the shower is ready to fall down, as is a as is an outdoor railing by the steps. The bathroom is so tiny, that if you're on the toilet, your knees are against the wall. The shower is so tiny that an average size person has trouble turning around in it. The worst part, though, was they have some kind of air freshener, apparently to mask another odor, and it was so strong that I had a headache all night long. This made me feel like, although it didn't look dirty, that the room is dirty. This was the most overpriced motel I've ever stayed.

A blast from the past. A neat little 1950’s very basic motel close to the action.
