Kimpton Armory Hotel Bozeman by IHG

Located in downtown near many shops, restaurants, and bars. The room was comfortable and clean but the HVAC was problematic. After a day the maintenance staff were able to fix the problem as the heater would not work properly. The restaurant and rooftop bar are worth the stay Chef Nicky prepares high level cutting edge dishes. The New Zealand Ora salmon was amazing as were the sides dishes. The cornbread was uniquely good and a must. Finish your days on the rooftop bar watching the sunset over the mountains.

A great hotel with a good restaurant. Breakfast should not be missed! The Fielding’s egg sandwich is a “must” try. The hotel is very close to the Central part of Main Street. Great shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Fishing and clothes shops galore.

Then, a day into our 3-day stay, I saw that my credit card had been charged multiple times, for a total of around $2,500. Charges had been made, then withdrawn, then made again. When I asked for relief, the smiling/kind staffer said that the manager was away til the next day but would resolve it. Upon checkout out there remained multiple bizarre and expensive unjustifiable charges on my card, and profuse apologies from staff included acknowledgement that this sort of thing happens there. It took an entire week for my credit card to be freed of all the unauthorized charges made by the hotel. My sense is that IHG, the corporation that runs the place, is really mercenary. They also made it really hard to log in to the wifi without giving them your bank account. Overall, this is a place that I recommend you avoid. The room is ok,the location in Bozeman is convenient, but the staff is uneven and the owners are absolute pirates.

Upscale, incredible restaurant, no-hassle pet friendly

Great place! Roof top bar was wonderful for an exceptional cocktail and sunset.

Well located. Friendly staff, great food Room service and laundry services are on scheduled timings, so needs to be factored in. It’s not that I don’t “like” that but just need to be aware to plan better

Staff was friendly & outstanding.

Rooftop pool is very small and there is not your typical area to lay in the sun. The food choices at the rooftop bar are minimal and the chicken wings are very fatty. Our first night they took our drink order then never asked for our food order! We left hungry because the drinks took 25 minutes to get and didn’t want to wait again now that our drinks had been empty for 15 minutes - clearly understaffed even though they had about 5 different women behind the bar. Valet parking is not necessary with so much public parking, just stay on top of the time. Cost us about $12 a day which was really just the overnight parking.

Excellent staff, hands down. The pop-up Lobby happy hour was great opp to socialize. Rooftop bar is insane at sunset and live music in the basement bar was a treat.

Everything was wonderful

Amazing location. Walking distance to everything including Montana State University. Great rooms and amenities. Very friendly Staff and very helpful with my late checkout request.

Location and general feel No

Centrally located, we asked for the sheets to be changed after finding hair in it. Couldn’t open windows as they forgot to put back levers (though the maintenance personnel was really kind). I asked for a package to be held and they didn’t. It was hundreds of dollars in shipping gone, and they never explained or apologized even though they had written they would hold it for me.

This is my choice hotel to stay at when I’m visiting Bozeman
