Baymont by Wyndham Branford/New Haven

Wifi was basically non existent unless you paid $5 You could basically send and email with no images. The bed and towels were clean but the walls were filthy. The toilet paper reel mounted to the wall was too far to reach while using the toilet. If you leaned forward to stretch trying to reach the toilet tipped and almost broke free of the floor(no joke) I arrived before 8:00am for breakfast and there were 2 yogurts 3 apples, bread and bagels. A make your own waffle which isnt for me but (im not going to lie, It looked good). And 2 types of cereal. A dispenser with juice apple OJ and Milk. My friend said OJ was good but apple looked rancid (dark brown). It was ok like a year ago, I think the management.

Proximity to the thimble Island ferry. The toilet was not anchored to the floor. Also the bed platform makes metal drum noises when you roll over. Not particularly friendly or clean.

The hotel offered a gym and breakfast daily. The Gym was sad and everything was broken. The pool was closed and half full and after they opened, it did not look safe. The breakfast was a sad display of vending machine packages......

It would be great to have more protein options at breakfast, especially bringing back the eggs as you used to have before. I also missed having decaffeinated coffee available in the guest rooms. I really appreciated that option during previous stays, and it wasn't available this time. These small changes would make the experience even better. Thank you!

The room was disgusting. I want a full refund. I've given fulsome feedback already, but the room was FILTHY, covered in human substances (DISGUSTING white stuff all over the chair; human hair in the bed, on the floor, in the bathroom; stick red substances on the bathroom door, etc.). We did not stay there and left within 10 minutes. It was so disgusting.

Gentleman at the desk went above and beyond to make our short stay positive. Beds squeak.

the beds were comfortable the hallways smelled of wet dog and poop. the pool had hair in it. very limited parking.

Location The beds were hard and horrible, couldn’t get an extra pillow, pool was dirty, it had a musty smell. It didn’t seem to be very safe.

Location, ease of check in. Room smelled weird, floor was filthy, bathroom towels were stained with something dark, maybe dirt. I had requested extra blankets, towels & pillows all which were not provided. The bath tissue roll is under the vanity & hard to reach.

Clean, good breakfast (more variety than I would have expected), lots of parking. Quiet surroundings, but not great sound proofing. Dog friendly.

The photos of this property lead you to believe that it's nice, updated, and well maintained. This hotel is beyond filthy, smells terrible, and most of the staff were rude. The pool was filled with paint chips and floating piles of hair. The first floor smelled of smoke and animals. There was a smear of what looked like blood on our bathroom wall. The floors in our room were covered in hair, dust, and old food. The people sitting in their cars smoking were creepy, to the point where we didn't want to leave the hotel. We didn't even think to try the breakfast based on how filthy the place was. The guy who checked us in was nice, but everyone else was rude.

Nothing Problem with payment, they were asking me to pay again, took $1 from my account unauthorised and caused my credit card company to freeze my card for the rest of my holiday. Whilst dealing with this the staff were speaking in a language I didn’t understand which I thought was very rude. The hotel was very noisy, both the location and other guests. We weren’t offered breakfast and had to go to reception twice to access the wifi.

The toilet didn't work. It took over 2 hours too check in. The couldn't find the reservation, even though I had the confirmation number and showed them my receipt. The bathroom door was swelled and wouldn't open or close properly.
