Hunter's Friend Resort

It was very clean inside the rooms and the lady that checked us in was very nice. We would definitely go back and stay again.

Air conditioning worked great, room was clean, staff was super friendly and to room was great for our dog.

We enjoyed the pool and having the kitchenette. Parking right by the door was great. It was convenient for bringing our two spaniels. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom is really small with no hooks to hang clothes or towels. It would have been helpful to have a hairdryer.

We stayed at Hunter’s Friend Resort and had such a wonderful experience! The location is unbelievable — we were able to get to Silver Dollar City with zero traffic, which is practically unheard of. The resort is surrounded by water, and it made for the most peaceful morning walks. We even walked over to the Floating Café for breakfast, which was so close and convenient, and it saved us from waiting in long breakfast lines in town. The owners were incredibly kind and even upgraded our room since they weren’t fully booked this weekend, which we really appreciated. Our room had a nice kitchenette, was very clean, and you can tell they really care about the property based on all the thoughtful upgrades and maintenance. We highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

The room was very clean. The beds were acceptable. The property is old and feels cramped into the lot. The bath water was nearly muddy. Rust color tinged with an odor. After the tub drained, there was a layer of rust color sediment on the sides and bottom. Inadequate hot water. This property is listed as a resort, but there is nothing “resort like” about it.

We booked a last min trip to Branson, which can typically be overpriced and difficult to find lodging. This room exceeded our expectations! A full sized fridge and two bathrooms. The owners are so so sweet!! Please consider this spot for your family, support small business. Great people, great landing spot for our weekend getaway.

there was no breakfast the pictures on line did not reflect the actual facility. It was a very old motel with a sign that said ; resort, cabins and condominiums; It was very deceiving. Never stay there again. Bathroom sink in the kitchenette. Very small bathroom. told it had a 'pet area' that was just the small grass area behind the motel next to the ditch. after checking in received a paper recommending to buy bottle water for drinking. Bed was old & uncomfortable as was the linens.

We have stayed here 3/4x with and without our kiddos. It’s always super clean, the people are sweet as can be and there dog is so loving! Definitely will keep staying here anytime in branson

We happened upon Hunters Friend Resort by complete accident. The owners, who live on sight, were the friendliest couple we’ve ever met! The cleanliness of the room, parking area, pool & pavilion was beyond exceptional. When we booked our room, we wanted a little more room than a standard kitchenette, and were pleasantly surprised with the 2 bedroom. My husband and I were treated more like family than tourists. I will guarantee that we’ll be back many many times. We have found a resort worth staying at time and time again!! That we had to leave and go back to work.

We had a nice stay at this property and will consider it for future stays in this area.
