Best Western Brewton Inn

Noticed a leaking roof, water bucket to catch water. Wish there simple guidelines to watch tv. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff friendly and very professional. I plan to continue using BW.

Note that I have stayed here numerous of times and my stay has always been pleasant but on this stay it was not. I have never met the GM before but on check in I did and it was not pleasant at all. She was very rude during my check in. Her delivery towards me was very off putting. I know that some people are very straight forward but it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. Plus I used my Cash App card for my deposit and he said that it didn’t take it in the system but I showed it to him that I got the notification that it was taken out, so he went to ask her about it and she said that I would still have to swap it again to check into my room, even though I showed them that it had already taken it off of my card. The only reason that I went ahead and swapped it again is because I had already paid for the room, if it wasn’t for that I would have left. I work front desk at a hotel and I know that there are ways around that issue, if I was dealing with a guest and they showed me the proof that it was taken off of there card, even though it’s not showing that in my system, I would have over road it and checked them in. Also when I went to the room it smelled like weed, I did let the front desk clerk know and he asked me if I wanted to move, and I told him no because it wasn’t an overwhelming smell. I hope that higher management lets the GM know that she needs to learn how to talk to her guest because I’m sure I’m not the only one that she has responded to in that way.

The lady at the front desk was probably one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was so kind and patient. She changed our room to a first floor room so my mother could have easier access due to her poor mobility. She also made fresh coffee for me and my sister. Little things like that make a world of difference! Also, when we walked into our room, we could tell it had been cleaned thoroughly. It actually SMELLED clean. You don’t always get that smell when you stay in a hotel.

I booked 3 rooms. My party was arriving at different times. The gentleman who worked the day shift would not let our first arrivals check in a little early without an extra charge. This was ridiculous.

Great. I booked it for a minister to stay at. Only issue we had was him checking in.

Bananas & Yogurt also.

Receptionists at check in and check out were amazing!!! However, we had a handicap accessible shower and both times we used it the bathroom floor became completely flooded.

Property is clean and the staff were very friendly. Only issue was checkout was at 11:00am and we were locked out of room at 10:00am.

The hotel was very well Manicured and the amenities was awesome. The staff I cannot say enough about the hospitality and friendliness and respect. I will definitely come back again for the third time. Thank you for everything.
