Clean, friendly staff, quiet and perfect all around!

This hotel is what you would expect for the price, but I don't think it's 9 star worthy. Maybe it's just Texas, but our room was very damp. It smelled damp and our shoes and clothes were damp from just sitting in the room. The room was surface clean, but there were boogers smeared over the headboard and on the bathroom wall that were never cleaned during our entire stay. The white bath towels were also stained. Smelled clean and felt clean, but were almost all stained. The breakfast was okay, not the best, not the worst, but if you are not there before 8:30 don't plan on many options because they never refilled things after that even though breakfast ended at 9am. On a positive note, the desk staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with our card being charged twice and they resolved it quickly. If you are looking for an affordable hotel, this will do the job, but in my opinion it's not 9 stars or "wonderful".

Bed was comfortable. TV remote did not work. One nightstand light flickered. The breakfast was included but a bit bland wish they had yogurt and oatmeal. The staff was abrupt, or dull. Overall, just ok but not many places to stay in that area so would recommend for the location.

The view is great, the overall staff were friendly but it only took 1 staff lady that was over the breakfast to ruin a perfectly good stay. She accused people of stealing food, caused a scene, was very rude and disrespectful to the guest. I’ve seen several complaints of her making threats and accusations towards guest on travel reviews. I don’t understand why something hasn’t been done with her. She would refuse to put out more food or juice and. It definitely wasn’t that good. I can only assume she’s lazy and just ready to go home so if you come down after she cleans up early she considers those to be an inconvenience for her. I don’t know why she was being the way she was.

The place was great. The room was big and comfortable. The breakfast was great, clean and fresh. The staff was fantastic and friendly. Highly recommended!

Loved that it was on the water and had a deck.

We stayed at this property three years ago and enjoyed it. However it now is beginning to feel run down it doesn’t seem like they are staying on top of maintenance or doing anything to refresh it, while it was clean it wasn’t pristine and breakfast was typical hotel food with no taste. The staff were kind but want to share their life story with you at check in while your exhausted and just want to get to you room. The snack counter only accepts cash so no room charges or debit cards allowed. My family thought it was okay but if we come back to bridge city we will look for somewhere else to stay if available.
