Staff Was not informed that it was flooded and breakfast and pool was closed until arrival and had to carry all luggage up steps

The girl at the front desk was very kind. The hotel was close to our destinations. My sister and our spouses reserved two room in Buckhannon,WV for two nights. Upon arrival we were informed there had been some flooding issues. No pool, no breakfast, no elevator , we had ants in our room, and our bathroom doors would not close, as they seemed to have swelled from the water issues in the hotel. Being we paid approx $260 for two night, we felt the price did not reflect the accomodations.

Under construction and completely a mess which was not revealed in the booking and it was filled with sheet rock dust

Customer service was friendly Sadly, Buckhannon WV was flooded beyond belief so I'm not trying to give a bad review. However, the pool and fitness area are closed. There are no rooms on the first floor, only the second and third floors with only stair access. Once renovation is completed I will definitely be going back just wanted to give a heads up before anyone decides to book at this hotel.

I love the location the room was nice bed comfortable. Staff was great and friendly. What I didn't like they had a flood there I wasn't informed about it until 40 minutes before arriving,. I had driven a long way to stay in Buchanan. The whole bottom floor was under construction which is okey but I didn't like being charged full price for my room. No pool no breakfast under construction. Trust me I'm glad they're repairing everything. I've stayed here before and was a great stay but being charged full price for my room when I had no other choice at the last minute isn't good.. like I said I'm glad they're on the road to recovery and the staff were awesome. But should be given some type of discount for my stay.

The property was in the process of being renovated due to a flood that happened a month earlier. It smelled like mildew and still was very damp feeling. The first floor was basically shut down. The only floors that had rooms were the second and third. We stayed in the third floor and it still had a mildewy smell. There was no breakfast, even though it was advertised that they did have it. The price was very expensive for having to stay in those conditions. The elevators were down as well, so we had to tote our stuff to the third floor. They didn’t give us a voucher for breakfast or anything. They just said sorry we were flooded. When you’re charging almost $150 per night to stay under those conditions that is ridiculous.

Nothing i left after a hour that I got there elevator doesn't work the room was derty we told the receptionist and she told us that there where no cleaners available we ask if there was a diferente room and she said no so I left it need a refund!!

There was no reservation made. Expedia messed up
