Quality Inn Calera I-65 exit 231

The room had a bad smell that permeated all the clothes in my suitcase. I had to wash all the clothing from my suitcase to wear it. In front, there is an open pit with water with white stuff floating in it. Outdoor the hotel smelled like the drain pit from a restaurant. The faucet in the bathtub was pulling loose when I pulled up the shower tab.

The room was clean but small compared to more modern hotels. We appreciated the small refrigerator and microwave in the room. The continental breakfast was fresh and well organized. We needed a place near the Calera athletic complex for one night, arrived late and left early, and this worked well for us.

Unclean, dated, bad smell. A very bad experiences

We arrived at check in time & our room wasn’t ready. We had to wait 25 mins. The refrigerator was broken & was warm inside. We asked for a replacement & never received one. Our TV control didn’t work. We had to go down to the office twice. First time she gave us batteries, that didn’t work. Second time she gave us another remote but that didn’t work either. Finally she came & brought a few to try & found one that worked. The rooms bathroom had hair on the floor & tub, the grout was moldy, the comforter & curtains were stained & the baseboard by the door was damaged & left hanging open. It was awlful! Dirty inside & out & not worth a stay at ANY price!

The staff was very helpful. The room was gross. The shower didn’t look like it had been really cleaned in a very long time. There were ladders everywhere at the entrance, a large hole in the ground and construction debris. I wasn’t sure if they were operational.

The hotel was good for the one night we stayed cold air smelled clean & looked clean comfortable bed

Black mold in ceilings and furniture. Cigarette burns in sheets, dusty, ants and gnats flying around, strong chemical smell. Mattress too hard and flimsy pillow. Just a horrible experience., very disappointed!!!

The property was old and outdated but very clean. I didn't like that my room opened to the parking lot.

Great breakfast. Our room was neat and tidy. Front desk was wonderful.

I have stayed at quality Inn often and this one was no disappointment. Very easy access dining options very close. Highly recommended.

The facility was ok, a bit pricey. The Inn is rather old and could use some TLC.

Clean room, petfriendy, friendlt staff

Very clean hotel, breakfast , and great location.

Room was not as nice as the pictures shows. Ceiling fans that do not turn on and missing a blade. Massive yellow stain on the ceiling. Cockroaches and red finger smudges on paint in the bathroom. Stairs going to second floor are rusted out and some look to be completely broken. 18 wheeler trailer behind hotel by pool sounds like someone is living in it. Random grown man hanging around pool trying to play with under age girls and when told not to touch them or we would have him arrested, he called the police. Absolutely the worst hotel we have stayed at.

Hotel was nothing like the pictures online. Our room was dirty, bathroom was disgusting, and we found rat poop by the bed. Property is not maintained whatsoever.

The door latch was broke, sink was messed up, and found a used needle in the room and due to I booked through Expedia they would not refund my money.

The bathroom sink smelled awful like unbearable. The ceiling had cracks and leaking on the bed our 2nd night there it was brown and NASTY. The toilet stopped up for no reason.

Very dusty under bed,you can tell dusty over the counters,poor towels.

The room was extremely muggy. It made it difficult to breathe. The bedding felt wet. The power went out at midnight and didn't come back in until 3am. You could hear commotion outside all night and headlights shining through the window. The door barely closed. You could see light coming in around the entire door. The peep hole was covered and not operational. It was all very unsettling ,I put a chair in front of the door. The walls had rust. I would never stay here again.

This was disgusting motel , it smelt like mildew , sweat, dirt on mirror very gross , but we were traveling to florida and had to take what we could get on a Friday night . Trashy and very gross, I wish I would have slept in the car but my husband wouldnt let me
