Beautiful property, close to downtown! Quintessential New England!

“My husband and I stayed here for a night. They only have someone at the front desk until a certain time so there is a number you can text for any issues. We checked in and dropped our stuff off in the room quickly and then returned around 8:30pm and as we were in the room we realized there was gnats flying around everywhere. My husband tried to go out into the lobby to see if anyone was there but they weren’t so we texted the number as it requests. We didn’t hear anything back until midnight and by that time we fell asleep. We had to leave the bathroom light on the whole night to hopefully pull them all near the light so we weren’t getting surrounded as we tried to get some sleep. We told them in the morning and they apologized but didn’t do anything about it. I am very unhappy with my stay here.”

Lovely place only a half mile sidewalk stroll to downtown. The room was clean and nice. The bed was lumpy and soft. There is a nice bar area and the breakfast was great with many options. The home is old so the floors are unlevel. Not a problem for us but could be for older guests. Easy parking.

We had a wonderful stay at Whitehall. The hotel is so well decorated with charm. Our room was wonderful as was the front deck for sitting. The breakfast was very good. All close to the town center. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellent breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Enjoyed the rocking chairs on porch and very high quality lobby coffee and lemon ice water. Room was small and mattress seemed old/springy or would have provided higher rating.

Whitehall is a lovely, elegant historic inn located within walking distance to Camden harbor. The grounds and common spaces are vast and well-maintained. The staff is friendly, Our room was small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing--the food didn't seem particularly fresh. But that is my only criticism. Otherwise it is an excellent place to stay.

Very lovely inn within easy walking distance of the town. My only complaint is the breakfast does not vary; I would recommend rotating the baked goods rather than keeping the menu exactly the same.

Beautiful property! Only stayed for a night for a wedding. Loved sitting out on the deck. Breakfast was fantastic! Our room was clean and staff was so kind and accommodating.

Our stay at Whitehall was very relaxing. The Inn is quaint, very clean, and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and they made great use of every bit of space. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and a wonderful way to start the day. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Whitehall to anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful place to stay.

Thoughtful details throughout the property, attentive staff and fantastic location!

Convenient location near Camden. Historic inn, family run with a lovely teen-aged son at the reception desk. Lots of nice public space. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great. Although the front porches were lovely, there was noise from the busy road.

Lovely staff members, and a good spot to unwind on the porch with a glass of wine. Our room was small but clean & cool. No extras like lotion or cotton balls but there was shampoo, rinse, and soap.

Whitehall was very charming. A short walk into town. We were pleasantly surprised! The uneven driveway

Rough parking lot, might as well park on the street in front.
