Best weekend stay in the poconos I’ve ever had & we went on a rainy weekend. We did the treetop adventure course VERY CHALLENGING in the rain but our tour guide Nick was so awesome and helped every time I couldn’t get up and gave me helpful tips to keep myself from slipping and falling. After the course we went over to the market and I got the turkey pesto melt and the boozy Oreo shake SO GOOD! we got checked into our rooms around 4 and the room was so delightful the bed was incredibly comfortable and I loved the robes the hotel provided. We stood on the 3rd floor and had a view to a wedding ceremony going on as well. The hot tub in the pool area was my favorite! The outside pool bar wasn’t open because of the rain but later that night we went to the library lounge for drinks and we sat by the fire place. For dinner we went to the tap room and the burger there was delicious my husband had the bbq burger and I had the classic burger and we had the flat bread pizza. I can’t wait to go back so I can really see all the outdoor amenities like the lake and hiking trails. This place is 10/10 I also loved how they had a weekend activity schedule like at 3pm they served all the guest cookies & tea & 8pm we roasted marshmallows by the fire pit outside (well we tried but because the rain we didn’t have much luck) great place for couples looking for a weekend reset.

The hotel was exceptional. They have taken a historic property and modified to meet contemporary demands all while maintaining the historic provenance. The grounds were equally exceptionally maintained and the various recreational and educational opportunities were great. But perhaps the greatest strength of the facility are its people. In particular I provide my highest commendation to Jessica, Gino, Anthony, Patty and Claire. There are no finer reprentatives than these people. One recommendation is that the printed list of activities be proofed and confirmed prior to distribution. Also, small items such as tub drains, window cranks and lamps be checked before guests arrive. Overall, we had a wonderful time at the property and hope to return for a longer stay.

Just a great space and always a wonderful experience.

This was our first time in the Poconos. The place is huge! There is plenty to do on the grounds daily. The staff, food, and environment were all very nice. They have a daily schedule of things that are going on. Also if you want to do out door activities the adventure center is right down the road. If you want to get away then this is the spot for you. I would highly recommend going here.

We had the BEST time at Skytop. The facility and hotel is better than ever before. The outdoor pools/indoor pool were amazing, and the activities that were offered were spectacular!
-
Definitely recommend we had the most amazing time! There was so much to do!

We really appreciated the shuttle to take us to the Indian Ladder Falls trail head. Great place to go for walks all over the property. Only complaint is that the A/C in the room kicked on very noisily. Light sleeper (me) might have trouble sleeping through it. Also spied a bug that ran behind the bed.

Will definitely go back

The property was beautiful and peaceful with many comfortable places to sit and observe. Still, there were a lot of activities and the grounds were immaculate!

I think because I booked with Hotel .com we were put upstairs on third floor in a small room,a/c did not work properly woke up each night in 82 degrees told front desk some one went up to fix it but the heat still went up in the middle of the night, overall we love the inn and will go back but won't use a third network to book.

The pool and other amenities were great since it did rain

Clean and the most friendly staff! Feels like home away from home.

Our trip to this place was incredible. We indulged in the thrilling tree-top adventures, took a tour of the property, and even went rifle shooting. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we had the pleasure of visiting during the off-season. We managed to make use of the gym and attend yoga classes. Unfortunately, the pools were undergoing renovations, so we couldn’t access those facilities. Despite this setback, we savored some delicious milkshakes, made some smores and had a wonderful dinner at the other lodge. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

We stayed on one of the cottages and it was nice. But the main hotel is lovely. Everything is there, you do not have to leave the area if you don't want to or need to. Gift shop, restaurants, activities, lobby sitting area, even things for kids, which we also used as adults. There was even live entertaining one night. Our cottage was within walking distance from the hotel, it offers a certain amount of privacy, got to see some deers so close to our cottage, it was a nice anniversary gift for us. The price was okay; around $1100, we paid half cash and the other with hotels.com gift cards. We stayed October 30th-November 2nd, and seriously thinking about going back again and maybe staying in the main hotel.
