Inn By The Sea

We just love it there. It is our happy place. Beautiful grounds, comfortable, friendly and downy to earth staff. Wonderful place!

The Inn is absolutely beautiful and the staff is so kind and helpful. The dinner at Sea Glass was delicious and the best way to kick off our weekend in Maine. It was hard to leave our room because the ocean view was so picturesque. I hope to come back again!

Gorgeous sea views.

This property was amazing. You walk into the lobby and can see the grass and ocean all at once. They have options to eat at the resort, have a bar and a pool. If you’d like, you have options to play games outside, make smores or walk down to the beach. It’s a beautiful walk. The loft we stayed in was beautiful, with gorgeous views. The bathroom has heated floors and there were two tvs, upstairs and downstairs. They even offer clue, scrabble and monopoly. Parking was easy, breakfast was available and the staff was nice. The rooms were very clean. Loved it here.

We lived the location - very private and surrounded by nature. We could hear the ocean wherever we were. The meals were outstanding. Great chef. We also loved the hospitality by everyone There was nothing to not like.

It was so pretty, the view was amazing , the dining onsite was wonderful, the room was spacious and way better than I expected....way, way, waaaayyyyy better. I guess, since I travel with me dog, I've gotten used to sub-par spaces. The Inn by the Sea's room was perfect. I can't believe I got a room with carpeting! A room that didn't faintly smell like pee! And the bathroom was-WOW!! I told this to the front desk...if a person books a room and it is indicated they are bringing a dog-please, please, please inform them that the beach, (probably the reason the place was picked) is closed to dogs...even temporarily, (the beach was closed to dogs for a few weeks because it's nesting season for a rare shore bird). Not the Inn's fault...but it was something known when I booked. I loved the hotel but I wanted a beach walkable to the Inn where I could play with my dog. Now, there was a beach that was nearby, (not walkable to though) that I was directed to and that was nice...maybe that's all that needs to be posted to people.

Couldn't recommend this hotel enough - it was the perfect stay! Staff are incredibly helpful, the rooms are amazing, and the spa was awesome! 15 minutes from Portland and right on the beach, it couldn't get better!

Clean. Great staff. Kid friendly

This was my first trip away since having kids 12 years ago. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The parking lot, lobby, halls and room were very clean. Our dinner and breakfast at the Inn were absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors complimented each other well. It was difficult to make a choice on what to order. We didn't have a pet with us but did see several dogs during dining and were impressed with dog menu. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay at the Inn and if you are unable to at least have a meal in the restaurant. We are already planning a longer stay next time.

Wonderful hotel with amazing seaside

This was the utmost experience you could wish for. If you are looking for a get-away with everything perfect- The Inn at the Sea should be your # 1 choice. The stay was beyond our expectations- all A++ .

Everything about the hotel and the property were exactly as we'd hoped. The room was beautiful, clean and fully stocked with everything we could need and the meals were creative and delicious. It's our first time staying here but it certainly won't be our last.

Absolutely stunning property with beautiful ocean views! The spa was lovely and relaxing. The room we stayed in was clean, had gorgeous views while we sat by the fire in our living room. Staff was attentive and kind. A definite if you are staying in the Cape Elizabeth area.

Inn by the Sea was an excellent place to stay. The front desk during check-in was 5 star and very helpful. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable. The spa was wonderful and relaxing. The restaurant food was delicious, a lot of variety. I would recommend the Inn By The Sea to my friends and family.

The room, location and staff were all amazing. A fun stay for us our kids and our dog!

We love Inn By The Sea for our Winter getaways with our dog Hayden!! Food at the Seaglass Restaurant is delicious!! Staff are beyond courteous and personally accommodating Katherine and Mark are always friendly at checkin!! The spa services are the perfect way to unwind!!
