The Quail

Lots of fun activities and amenities! Loved the (real grass) putting green, fire pits (S’mores!), patios, fountains, location, etc. And only minutes from downtown Carmel and ocean walks. Best break from summer heat to enjoy cool weather and gorgeous scenery (Pebble Beach, Big Sur). Loved it!

Great location and a perfect place for a relaxing vacation with your dog! Loved the grounds and will definitely be back. Close to downtown but not in the middle of all the bustle.

The staff was excellent and the free wine happy hour was awesome. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The restaurant was very good. The room was a bit outdated which is was I did not give a ten.

Great for families - felt like staff was very friendly and did a great job maintaining the property. Wish the pool had a hot tub, and wish there was staff at the spa (I've visited twice and both times there was nobody staffing the spa for massages). Other than that, the visit was very relaxing and everybody enjoyed the fire pits and smores.

Our room was green side on the golf course, with comfortable sitting chairs to watch play go by. Restaurant food was excellent and all staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay

I loved everything about the hotel/resort. The food was amazing and the bartender made wonderful drinks! It is an exceptional place!

While the location is away from town, it is a relaxing retreat that only takes minutes more to get to. Very peaceful, comfortable accommodations. We only had breakfast there and it was pricey, but fast and well prepared.

Unfortunate situation with noise/blaring music and our room. The room and the location was very nice, otherwise. But the hotel was fully booked and they were not able to relocate us because of a party going on right next to our room. If there is an event like that, they should not rent the room next door except to someone at the event. Music was so loud our room was vibrating with each beat.

Beautiful

Hotel is great and a relaxing environment. It is a few minutes outside of town but we found a great spot right across the street with a charming shop and delicious Mexican restaurant away from the crowds.
