Heritage Inn Cartersville

The man working the desk was very nice but that’s where the good experience ended. I think most of the people staying at this hotel live there on a weekly to monthly basis. The room wasn’t dirty but the blanket had cigarette burns and there was pen/marker writing all over the floors and walls. There were people lurking everywhere watching us and I did not feel safe there, so we left. Do not waste your money like I did!

The staff was very kind and helpful. Drugs usage was definitely an issue.

We didn't unpack. Room was full of bugs. We left. Front entrance looked very nice. But the room was disgusting

The room was clean but from the moment I sat on the bed I began to itch severely.i check the sheets and stuff but didn't see anything.also I had no washcloths in my room.

1) There was a microwave and a refrigerator, which I liked and needed. 2) My neighbor two doors down was very helpful as he offered to get the Internet code for me, which I did appreciate. (It was not given to me when I checked in.) 1) It was difficult to find the motel since the motel name was different than it was on Booking.com. On Booking.com, it was OYO Motel, but when I was looking for the motel, the sign in front was "Budgetel." 2) The woman at the counter who took my $50 cash deposit did not give it back. I told her I was leaving early, but I left an hour earlier since I didn't sleep well. She did not come to the front desk to give me back my deposit, so I left since I had to get on the road. I have still not received my deposit. 3) There was no number on the door or near the door of my room, though there were on others, so I wasn't sure I was even going to the correct room. 4) There was no trash can in the room or the bathroom. 5) There was a cockroach in the bathroom on the shower curtain, but we didn't notice it until my daughter started to take a shower. She started screaming, and I had to kill the cockroach for her. 6) The walls were perhaps newly painted, but whoever did the job didn't do it very well, and the tile in the bathroom was likewise not put in very well. Both the room and bathroom were ugly rooms. 7) The walls were paper-thin. We were about to go to sleep, and a family with young children entered the room next door to us at about 8 PM. Although the parents kept telling their children to be quiet, we could hear everything they said.

First of all this property is not in Cartersville is in White Georgia 20 miles north of Cartersville. Vast majority of people staying here for a long time residence. This place is a dump. As above this place is a dump.
