Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cartersville

We have stayed a few times at this hotel over the years. Each time as we are inside the building, walking to or from our room. The hallway has strong smells of Marijuana in them. I'm thinking that we might not stay anymore if they keep allowing people to smoke weed in there buildings.

please do not stay here, you will see cockroaches everywhere.

Dont!!!Dont!!!This place is micro"hell"the outside looked ok the elevator was hot the hallways were 89 degrees upon reporting it the guy said ill have to get the tech to ck it but it was never turned on and i noticed a guest that was on oxygen and he said he had been complaining about the hot hallways a couple days !!.Partying happening in room next to us all night .The tub was so unstable I was afraid we would fall through .The room was old and outdated no refrigerator no microwave no place to charge your phone unless you brought your own (which we did) the tv was very small!!The bed felt like a rock and after spending 50.00 on sheets and a mattress protector because we were afraid of theirs only to sleep around 4 hrs and we woke up at 4 am and checked out.We were afraid to try the free breakfast .Please think about it before booking its literally not worth it .The price point was great but what a disappointment. This is the worst place we ever booked!!!!The lady at the checkout was very nice!!she said we had the best room there so go figure on the rest !!Hate that she has to work in such a dump as nice as she was im sure she hears tons of complaints on the daily!!save your money and sanity stay away from micro"hell'

At first, we decided to overlook these issues since we were only staying for one night. However, during the middle of the night, the situation became much more serious. We found bed bugs in the bed, and I was bitten while sleeping. The bites caused pain, swelling, and significant itching. We immediately notified the hotel staff, and they moved us to Room 321, which was in somewhat better condition. However, the damage had already been done. Because of the bites, discomfort, and concern that there could be more insects, we were barely able to sleep for the rest of the night.

Hotels was fine but not great. Outside was overgrown and didn't look very good. Staff was helpful when asked. Breakfast was VERY basic, cereal, prepackaged pastries, and that was about it. Hotel was cleanish, but looking in the corners revealed the extent of the cleaning. No smells or mold visable. Cosmetic things broken, like carpet peeling up in places. Overall not fantastic, but for $70 a night, it was what I expected.

Breakfast was terrible, Not many choices & closed early, Phone in room didn't work. Bathtub was poorly installed and made loud cracking noises between floor and tub & other rooms had same issue, bathroom door wouldn't open/close due to rubbing on floor.

Not all rooms have refrigerators. The microwave is in lobby. Walking distance to restaurants, fast food, laundry mat if needed

Dog friendly and they leave you alone for your peace ✌️

Website photos are extremely inaccurate. Room was DIRTY. Woke up and walked into the bathroom to see COCKROACHES crawling on the floor, wall, shower and sink. Floors were gross w/a sticky residue. Very outdated & worn out. Door didn’t close properly.

Shower curtain in the bathroom kept sliding down wouldn’t stay in place. You guys need to update the tvs or add more channels. Or add Netflix so can signed in watch shows I like.

I checked earlier than 11 coming in from work they lady didn't want to let me back in the room.

First off, the front desk staff was for the most part, excellent, which is why I gave 2 stars rather than one. Other than that, it was terrible. The first room was dirty, walls were dirty, ceiling was dirty, cracked and stained. Carpet was ripped and pieced back together. The shower wouldn’t drain and rather than fix it, the staff just moved us into another similar room. All the same stuff in the new room plus a musty cigarette smell. The shower did drain, but the toilet was clogged and we had to go get a plunger and fix it herself in the middle of the night. We were there for 5 nights and even though housekeeping is supposed to come daily, they never came even after multiple requests. Breakfast is simply cereal and microwaveable pancakes. Would not recommend anyone stay here until they get things cleaned up.

Looks good on outside, but rooms are old, bedding old, afraid to sleep on them. Set up in chair. Floors were sticky. Bath towels and wash cloth very thin and old. If it wasn't for the getting there late and not getting my money back I would have left.

Nothing at all Here is our NIGHTMARE stay experience! This Hotel is a scam the pictures look nothing like the actual hotel! This was, without question, the WORST hotel experiences my family has ever had. From the moment we entered the room, it was obvious that it had not been properly cleaned. The room was dirty, carpets are torn, curtains are stained the entire hotel smells like cigarettes the couch was covered in stains we didn’t even put our luggage on it let alone sit on it! Bathroom was disgusting!  We found cockroaches, there were no blankets provided, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and there was a strong chemical or gas-like odor that made us question whether it was even safe to stay there. The most disturbing part of our stay was discovering that our son’s mattress had what appeared to be blood on it. There was absolutely no way we were going to let him sleep in that bed, so he had to stay in my mother-in-law’s room instead. No family should have to deal with something like that after paying for a hotel room. I reported these issues immediately and was told there is nothing they could do about it because the manager Zachary wasn’t there. A woman and her son next to us didn’t have any power in their room and was told they couldn’t help her either!   When I contacted Booking.com for help,they told me I would be getting half of my money back  than was later informed that the hotel changed their mind and were not giving us any money back, despite what we had been told earlier. Zachary lied and told booking that he offered us another room which was in fact a lie he never spoke to us at all! That was incredibly frustrating and left us feeling completely misled. We paid for a clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay. Instead, we received a filthy room, cockroaches, what appeared to be blood on our son’s mattress, missing bedding, non-working Wi-Fi, and a concerning chemical odor. I documented the condition of the room with photos and videos because it was that bad.

Close the the place I needed to be Our room wasn’t cleaned.. we had to request towels and they lost our pillows after a couple of hours being checked out of the room

The room was disgusting, the carpet was torn and a piece was hastily patched into it. The sheets had a stain on them and a lot of trim in the room around the base and ac unit was broken. One of the walls were covered in a white scum.

Very comfortable That we had to leave!!!
