Hampton Inn Champaign Southwest

We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were great, friendly, and attentive. The whole hotel was very clean. Breakfast had lots of great options, and the breakfast staff were on top of refilling everything and super helpful. The beds were SUPER comfortable!! We would 100% stay again. There are also plenty of places for food within a short drive. The pool was down; however, we weren't planning to use it anyway.

Convenient and quiet location. Friendly staff and clean facilities. The air conditioning was controlled by a motion sensor and would cut off when there was no movement for a period of time. That’s a terrible setup and should never be the case in a hotel room.

The beds were not comfortable, you could feel the springs. The juice machine was out of order and there was no backup. For 200 a night I would expect them to suplement.

Breakfast was better than most hotels where I have stayed.

The property was very clean & looked new! It’s in a great location & was easy to find. The rooms were clean & comfortable-love the daily complimentary breakfasts.

The hotel was exceptional. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious -- and the breakfast cook/server was just amazing. So kind and helpful. It was a wonderful experience overall -- with only one exception. The pool was out of order. Nobody told us that when we checked in, and I really think people with reservations should be informed. Our daughter was SOOO excited about swimming, and was already to jump in the pool when we saw the sign on the pool door that it was out of commission.

Breakfast staff was lovely, amazing, and kind. They did a great job! Check in and out was easy. Pool was closed, which would've been nice to know in advance of check in. TV did not allow any streaming/shows via device or login, and it took an hour for someone to get up to our room from when I called the desk just to relay that message. I had 3 kids with me who I had brought purposefully to swim and have a movie night, so it was kind of a bummer just for our specific situation. When I called customer service, they told us we could swim at another hotel in the chain, but when I got there with the kids they said no. Which is fine, but again I wish customer service hadn't sent us there across town under the impression that we'd be able to. We were then told another Hampton Inn would let us use their pool, and when we got there they had no idea what we were talking about. However, the desk worker there was extremely kind and allowed us to use the pool.

This hotel is run very well and we stay several times a year at this location because of that. The rooms are very clean and it is quiet. There are great dining options within walking distance and many walking paths nearby. Everyone from the reception staff to the kitchen staff is super friendly and helpful making for a pleasant stay. The pool was out of order this time but that is usually very nice also.
