Motel 6 Schiller Park, IL - Chicago O'Hare

The staff were very nice and the neighborhood is very quiet and chill. I would recommend for a nice stay or getaway!

Terrible

We stayed for two nights. When we got there the room stunk like cigarette smoke, there was no fridge, the TV didn’t work and the internet was really bad. Since it was close by the airport, you could hear planes coming and going all day and night. Not a complaint but an observation. Other than that everything else was fine.

Staff were warm and welcoming. The area wasn’t the greatest. Very loud at night and the room had a terrible smell.

Dirty linens & room smelled like urin!

Check in was very pleasant. The attendant was very nice and friendly. Although the room was renovated it reeked of mildew. It smells like a backed up sewer. I used an entire can of Lysol and it didn’t work. The air conditioner was loud and blew out dust everywhere. The guests next door smoked cigarettes and Marijuana outside of my room and it seeped through the air conditioner vent into my room. No satellite or internet service. I had to watch tv on my laptop. When I discovered the family of roaches under the refrigerator was the last straw for me. I did not stay the night. I got another room somewhere else. This location is extremely overpriced for the lack of accommodations they provide.

The room had a funny smell upon entering. It passed for a night somewhere, but I don't think I would stay again.

Only stayed cause everywhere else was triple price. Lamps falling off wall. tv worked in one room, but not the other, AT ALL. Sign in office said no compensation for no tv. Cockroaches all over room. Police were called for altercation outside. Planes fly so low might as well sleep at airport. Couldn’t find ice machine or laundry, literally poop on sidewalk as going to room.

I was not very comfortable here, but it was just for one night. The walls are thin, and we heard walking above us from the second floor all night long.

Trash in parking lot, no shampoo, one soap for shower & sink, saw several people urinating in parking lot. People talking loudly in walkways between rooms, room smelled like mildew, outlets were behind beds and had to move bed to access. Entire property smelled like weed. BUT, nobody died & nothing was stolen. Probably will find somewhere else next time.

I should get my refund soon, as I left after 1 night TVs weren't functioning in the entire place. Shower didn't drain as I was in it. Total dumpy AF appearance! I guess I got what I paid for. My room smelled like wet dog, even though it had been cleaned. I had stayed here 8 years earlier and it definitely changed for the worst!

Location The desk woman had a very bad attitude and the room sheets were stained , I asked for a room change . The following morning I walked to my car only to find it had been broken into and all my stuff was everywhere and stuff stolen . They were no help and would not review footage .

Parking was available. Close to Dennys and Dunkin for coffee.
