Best Western Chula Vista/Otay Valley Hotel

Clean room nice staff

Carpet was warn and filthy front desk attendant was not courteous or inviting and overall property was run down and not maintained. The Best Western name is not what it used to be

I let the front desk know, and they changed me rooms, which was very nice. However, once in that room, it seemed a lot cleaner, and the air conditioner worked great however I did see a cockroach which I tried to get to show front desk, however I wasn’t able to. Because of these issues I was late to the Padres game which totally ruined my stay.

We were in Chula Vista for a concert so we only stayed one night but it was a nice stay. The bed was comfortable so we slept well.

Housekeeping was rude when we said we needed more time. Called the front desk asked for late check out, she said ok u have an hour be out by then and hung up. Do not stay here

Nice right by the concert we were going to and staff was nice.

Room was clean and staff was very accommodating and helpful! We’ll stay here again the next time we’re in San Diego!

Room had multiple issues. Sink faucet was loose and the sink drained as slow as the Titanic sinking. Shower rod was upside down, keeping the curtain from staying closed.

Perfect place if you’re staying for a concert at the North Islands Amphitheater

Angel at the desk was great. It was clean but very dated.

Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. It wasn’t as clean as we expected, especially considering the many positive reviews we had read. While we appreciated the wonderful service from the front desk, I hope the hotel pays more attention to the cleanliness of its rooms .

Staff was great, around the outside could have been better maintained

When I ask for a little more time for check out. The guy told me I have only extra 15 to 20 minutes to pack up my stuff and leave.

The staff was super friendly. The rooms need a little updating due to some wear and tear. The breakfast was decent. They had cereal, pastries, eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffle maker etc. But overall, it was good for a 1 night stay!

Room was ok. Older. They did specify that there is no housekeeping so we understood that. We didn’t have enough towels or toiletries so we had to ask for them at the front desk which they happily gave without question. The location is not the best as it is difficult to get in and out seeing that they share a driveway with the gas station right next door. I’m disappointed with this Best Western. I expected better and nicer which is why I booked with Best Western but this was not the case at this location.
