The room was clean, but updates are needed. We wish there had been a coffee maker in the room.

Convenient Costly for the area

As always the Super 8 in Clarinda was great. New owners but they will get the hang of it soon. I miss the carpeted floor but the new floor is beautiful. They need to keep the back door area cleaned. Its pretty run down

When booking it does not state they charge $25 a day non refundable pet deposite. Even there pet policy posted on counter does not state its a DAILY fee. We where staying for 2 days so should of been $50 but was charged for 3 days so got charged $75. Was suppossed to be refunded but has not been. The rooms where very dirty. Looked like old pet poop on floor that was just picked up but never cleaned. Sheets and blankets where gross unwashed. When told staff she just threw new sheets at me for me to change the bed. Im renting a room I shouldnt have to be the one to clean and make beds to be able to sleep there. Worst hotel I have ever stayed.

There is a really big gravel parking lot in the back where I can park my semi truck when I stay in the area I stayed for two days in the breakfast was cold each day. The sausage and eggs were cold. The gravy was cold. I had to keep putting everything in the microwave. Also, my particular room the heat didn’t work. I also noticed behind the bed where the headboard was there was a lot of debris and hair.

Cheap Entire hotel smells like wet socks. Hotel staff isn’t helpful. Breakfast is abismal.

Location was great and staff was nice Rooms smelled horrible. You can definitely tell what rooms had been smoking rooms as fixtures were yellow.

It's a super 8. Room was clean. A/C worked and helped drown out highway traffic. Didn’t try breakfast as it isn’t ready until 6, when I have to be at the job. TV was fair after figuring out the large remote and the proper hdmi inputs. King size bed never disappoints. Small pillows. Staff were nice but the language barrier took a little getting used to. Parking is well lit, along with the highway lights and businesses across the way. Didn’t hear many footsteps or doors, so pretty well insulated. Close to the main drag, so plenty of businesses nearby. Scooters is open at 5:30am. I had no issues.

Location to my family Property is outdated only one outlet was accessible for use in our room. The pool was dirty and not maintained. Neither was the hot tub. The lobby and breakfast area was the cleanest area in the entire building carpet coming up stains all over the carpet.
