Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clear Spring by IHG

This hotel was clean and inviting, the room was nice, the bed comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good for a hotel breakfast and even had biscuits and gravy- my favorite. I lowered my rating a bit because the indoor pool was too cold to swim in (at least for me) and after driving all day I was looking forward to the hot tub, which was completely out of order. But even with that, it was the best place i stayed on a an eight day road trip.

Room was not thoroughly cleaned. A pair of boxers were on the floor from someone’s previous stay. Pillows smelled like mildew.

Hot tub was broken, pool looked a bit cloudy.......didn't get my Speedos on.... Rest was good......beds a bit sponges, possible mattress topper but way too soft/ soggy , well for my liking. Had to fight my way out in morning.

There were 2 staff for check-in but only 1 of their computers was for checking in. So there was a wait for the 4 roups ahead of me to check in. After a long drive, I eanted to sgretch out in my room as soon aas possible.

On a positive note, the breakfast was good and offered a nice variety. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance issues overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay.

This remains a nice place to stop along I70. Nothing special but clean and well cared for with a typically good breakfast.

Rooms were clean and had the best beds and pillows!! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was out of order but the kids enjoyed the pool.

Room was clean. Had a couple issues with our keys getting into our room and using the side door. Besides that, everything was great.

The bed was super comfortable! I rested very well! The room was clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. Kim, the breakfast attendant, was so friendly, warm, and welcoming. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and to keep the breakfast stocked, and the dining area very clean. I will definitely stay here again if I travel through this area.

Do not stay here there are better options available no customer service non and experience non existent I was placed in a room (120 to be exact) that was supposed to be out of order/out of service for guests due to it supposedly being repaired. There was no oversight or checks if the room was operational but I was checked in for there. I immediately checked out and went somewhere else because in what world would I want to be switched to another room in a hotel that placed me and my kids in an unsafe environment? They refuse to issue my refund because I didn’t let them change my rooms??? When I shouldn’t have been placed there in the first place!!!! I will escalate until I’m issued my refund.

Loved that there was a variety of breakfast food that was ready at 6am. The server was attentive to the eating areas as items became low in qty.

The breakfast was excellent, the staff was friendly and while the rooms were fairly well maintained.

Very friendly staff, clean room and facilities, excellent free breakfast. Easy to get to. There is a local pizza place that delivers to the hotel, which we tried and it was delicious. Would recommend and would stay again myself!

We have stayed in many hotels over the last few months, and this was (by far) the best overall stay we’ve had. Everything was very clean and safe. The beds were comfortable, and this was the first place we stayed in since Covid that did housekeeping every day. The breakfast was extensive, delicious, and very continually stocked. 10/10 would stay here again!

Check in staff very friendly. Good breakfast options Had a spider some weird maybe dragonfly type dug and a huge fly in my room. Carpet was gross. Tv extremely small. Just not a good quality hotel over all.
