Best Western El Grande Inn

Clean room. Updated bathroom in room. Plenty parking. Exercise room was convenient. Pool area could use an update

Clean room, good price. Near to clear lake

The check in staff member was nice and friendly, but after she left the rest of employees were short and loud due to being disturbed from their computer screen. This was my first time visiting this Best Western in Clear Lake. As a member I've never been denied a continental breakfast. The food was being prepared for a church group only and had a closed sign outside the door. Luckily I found breakfast a cross the street at Grandpa's Cafe. It's a shame to give this Best Western a lacking review because it's beautiful and has great potential.

Didn't have time The receptionist that greeted on phone and at desk was not welcoming at all. She was a little rude

The bed was very comfortable. The shower had the right amount of pressure. I really enjoyed the onsite eatery. Great portions and great value. I absolutely loved the sitting areas out side the room so that I could enjoy the courtyard and the water feature in the center of the hotel. Very warm and welcoming. So much so I took pictures of the courtyard and suggested my Uncle stay when he came to the area a mere 4 days later.

Room smelled like smoke and it was noisy. It was adjacent to another room through a door. I could see light from the other room under the door and conversations as if they were in my room. Very noisy and not to private

Easy parking, not sure about security though nothing happened during my stay. Strong unpleasant odor as soon as I entered the building. Very run down and need of maintenance. Strong smell of a floor cleaner in many areas when the other bad odor was not obvious.

Room was not very clean. Stains on curtains. They allow teenage parties that last until the middle of the night. Teenagers screaming all night. Hotel desk came up around three and asked them to quiet down. They still were pretty loud after. Not sure if I will book them again.

It looks like they are renovating and the room was updated and clean very welcoming

Didn't use the hot tub

The room was clean and Bed was comfortable and close to the memorial services we were attending. The front Desk staff was polite and considerate of all our needs. The sink in the kitchenette the cold water did not work, Bathroom toilet tank was leaking, Closet door in bedroom were not on the tracks correctly hard to open and close felt like they were going to fall off track. Refrigerator was rocking back and fourth when we opened the door. We reported these things to the front desk upon our departure.

Nice room, clean, quiet

We had a lakeview king suite and it was perfect. Plenty of room and the bed was comfortable. Through no fault of the hotel, there was a man outside yelling in the morning hours on one of the days we were there.

Quiet ,clean, and most of all friendly staff Nothing

Ease of checking in and close parking right outside our room. Also - onsite breakfast Size of actual bedroom, and teeny bathroom. Have to stand in the toilet to open and close the door. Also the door stuck out into the bedroom and worried that I might hit it when getting up in the middle of the night.

Comfortable Water wasnt hot enough

First time staying here! Such a beautiful hotel! And the rooms Looks newly renovated . The person that checked us in, was very kind and helpful when we thought we arrived too late for check-in. Shout out to you! I’m sorry I forgot the name of the agent!
