Liberty Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Small blood mark on the pillowcase, terrible pillows, stains on the bedspread, impossible to lift curtains to stay up, hard bed, didn’t feel comfortable taking shoes off on the carpet, Saturday breakfast 7-9am so missed that. Positive…good AC, price good, location. Contemplated going to a different hotel but it was late and we were tired so we just sucked it up.

The hotel is full of character but mixes in modern features very subtly. The property is kept in immaculate condition. The ample amount of parking in a busy downtown was a great feature as well. Couldn’t have been happier with the stay

Beautiful hotel and very clean. My room was way too hot for a Texas room. I wouldn't return just for that reason.

Loved the historical aspect, how friendly the front desk person was who greeted us Tuesday night and how warm and cozy but spacious the room was. Also, sparkly clean!!!! I thought the Continental Breakfast was a bit weak but that is not an important feature for me because I generally come fully prepared with my own breakfast supplies.

This place is an absolute gem! So grateful I booked it for the night. Beautiful 100+ year old property completely updated with modern amenities. Awesome vibe.

This hotel in near train tracks. It was very noisy and hard to sleep because they ran all night long.

Quaint, old world charm. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast was not the best. No meat, eggs 3 different ways. No coffee maker in room. Repairs needed- doors not working, one elevator out of service. Pool looked green. Small shower but functional.

A beautiful historic spot walking distance to everything yet really quiet.

Perfect location in downtown! Staff was very friendly! Air conditioning worked great! We would definitely stay again!

It was a beautiful place to stay, in a great location! The decor was beautiful touches of history and it was great to read the information they had at the front desk about the hotel! The breakfast was OK, nothing really to grab and go. I think they had apples… But the staff were genuinely kind… We would stay there again!

The lobby was beautiful but as it turns it a facade. Well lets start with no a/c in the one and only operable elevator and the halls. The carpets throughout are probably 15 to 20 years old faded, stained and filthy. Our first room had melted water in the ice bucket, the bed looked slept in with public hair on the sheets. Neither of the window blinds worked. Second room marginally better but not by much. Blinds didnt work like the first room. Chair and ottoman were stained, floors stained. Worse part was there was some kinds soda stain or coffee stain that had run down the wall and dried. Hot water is non-existent.

Outdated hotel, small rooms not friendly for work travel due to desk and chair provided in room.

It is just a cute hotel downtown that has an old timey feel to it but with all of the modern amenities. Love the atrium and the warm wood paneling on the first and second floors. Will return again when in the Cleburne area 😊

This is a wonderful hotel with a nice retro vibe. One improvement could be new box springs as the current ones are a bit sagging. Thanks.

Beautiful hotel, the only complaints is the fridge did not work in the room. The breakfast was extremely small. The hotel itself was kept beautifully clean and had a vintage yet modern feel.
