Comfort Inn South Chesterfield - Colonial Heights

Close proximity to I-95 was great. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good. It was nice to have the egg and sausage as options. The bathroom needs to be repainted. There needs to be more lighting and another mirror in the bedroom area.

Bath room. I know this was an older hotel. Need up dating

Close to restaurants. Beds were hard. Water pressure too hard and water gets scalding hot. Pillows were flat and had lumps of stuffing. Pillows could certainly use replacing. Blankets felt damp by morning from the AC and humidity within the room. Just uncomfortable overall. Front desk guy was nice and accommodating, once you found him.

Easy access from Hwy Train tracks near by. Heard train at 5am

A dirty sock was in the corner beside the bed. The tv remote had cheese on it. Something was going on with the fan in the bathroom and the elevator was out of order one day. Parking was questionable.

Elevator was damaged

I never stayed. Checked in, room smelled of tobacco smoke and bath musky. I have asthma and went straight down and requested my money back. Clerk said ok and I went to get my stuff. Came back and clerk said he couldn’t refund my money. So I didn’t stay and they kept 2 nights money and refused to refund. Very bad experience. Do not stay book here! Room smelled of tobacco smoke and bath musky. Hallways dim and dark.

Clean and nice smelling room. Housekeeper was friendly. Front desk person did his best to find two rooms next to each other for me and my wife and for my daughter and her family. Breakfast was good and all attended.

I love this place!! Every time I come into town for a few days. This hotel is my to go place. Staff been good to me. Room clean. This time I stayed the elevator was down but staff still did their best to keep me happy. They did their job and kept me happy. Thank you and see you soon!!!!

Elevators were broke; night clerk was very hard to understand, but did accommodate with room on the first floor. Hotel is pretty beat up and showring wear. Cleanliness was average to slightly above. This property is NOT in keeping with what I usually see from Comfort Inns.

The food was horrible. The room is not as big as the pictures showed. The room had an odor, was not at all as shown in the pictures. Would never stay again nor recommend. Not sure how it received a 4.2 star rating. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

The 1st room they gave us wasn’t clean . Had to get another room key then the fire alarm kept going off . Not updated but you get what you pay for

I was happy with the hotel except the train that was close by. It didn’t bother me but others could hear it.

the guy at the front desk gave my key card to me in a used key sleeve- with food stains on it. if they're reusing paper sleeves/envelopes, what else are they reusing??
