Holiday Inn Express & Suites Corpus Christi NW - Calallen by IHG

Very nice room. A little pricey but it was the closest to the location we’d needed. Didn’t have time to try breakfast or amenities. Room was very nice. Had a very nice sitting area, a little kitchenette and beds were comfy.

It has gone downhill. Needs an update drastically. Bad smell. Walking barefoot on the carpet turns your feet black. Pathetic water pressure. No usb outlets.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very welcoming. The mattress was the worst I have slept on in some time. I booked a room with a king bed and we ended up with a room with two beds.

The TV did not work and after swapping remote twice still not work and did not offer a solution. Toilet did not flush

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Holiday Inn Express in Calallen, Texas. During one of the most difficult times in my life, while moving my dying mother back to my home in another state, the staff showed us incredible kindness, compassion, and genuine care. They even surprised us with an upgrade to a suite after learning what our family was going through, and that thoughtful gesture meant more than they’ll ever know. I’ve stayed at this location several times over the years, and every visit has been exceptional. They truly make you feel like family, always greeting you with warm smiles and outstanding customer service. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast is always delicious with plenty of options. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Calallen area, I wholeheartedly recommend this Holiday Inn Express. Thank you to the entire staff for your kindness, generosity, and for making such a difficult time just a little bit easier. I’ll always be grateful for your care and hospitality.

Ghe staff was amazing. Attentive and cared. The hotel.was spotlessly clean. Breakfast had something for everyone, and was a bit different everyday. For a family friendly hotel on a budget, id give this hotel 10 stars!
