La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Covington

It was just ok. The shower in the room had barely any water pressure and the door handle was coming off the door a bit. Also we had 5 guests in our room but only gave us 3 towels for some reason. Overall it was clean and staff were professional.

Traveled from Chicago and all the girls wanted to do was swim and the pool was closed!! It was really bad !! They need to do better on Maintenance!! Every Hotel should know that when people travel they and their families want to chill ! Especially in the pool !

The room and common areas were clean. Only problems were with our shower curtain bar. It was loose and we couldn’t keep the shower curtain closed. The bathroom door handle needs to be fixed. The air conditioner was leaking.

Overall a typical cheaper hotel experience. Biggest complaint was stained bed cover, which grossed me out. Friend found hairs on her bed spread . The rest seemed pretty clean. Sheets were clean. Bathroom was clean. Staff was friendly. I’ve left a dirty hotel before and decided to stay despite the stains. I was very tired. I had my own blanket. I refused to use the one on the bed. Only stayed one of the two nights I booked. Ended up booking another hotel the next night and forfeited my night’s stay.

Upon check-in, the hotel required an additional $50 deposit for "room damage" which was not disclosed when booking the property. The hotel wifi only worked for part of our stay. The clerk that handled our check-in didn't inform us of the breakfast hours, and we didn't find the breakfast very good.

The room was big and bed was comfortable. Interior was very nice and big dining area on the first floor. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

Stayed one night just passing through, hotel is bigger on the inside then it looks, it was clean, smelled fresh, rooms were comfortable. Front desk was okay not super friendly but answers all my questions. Breakfast the next morning the food was great, just some of the areas were dirty, of course I blame that more on parents not cleaning up after their kids.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The owner (I believe) was staring every customer down like he didn't trust any of them. The followed us around like he thought we (my children and I) were up to no good. The room was dark and unwelcoming (like the entire hotel) with no ventilation (not even in the bathroom). There was a bathtub but no stopper so my kids couldn't bathe. The beds were so uncomfortable (lumpy and hard) my back was killing me in the morning. There are no sound barriers between rooms. I could hear dogs barking and babies crying all day and night. However that wasn't the worst. The worst was the basketball or wrestling team that was practicing until 4am above us. My dogs were on edge all night and my kids kept being woken up. Finally morning came and we went to breakfast at 9:45am. We were told in a very rude tone that breakfast ends at 10 and the attendant WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT be putting more food out. Not that we were wanted any of it because it was so gross looking (even the two tangerines that were so dried out it was disturbing). At 9:55 the attendant turned off the lights because she said "we're closing at 10, so hurry up and get your stuff and go". Wow! For almost $200 I expected more- SHAME ON YOU La Quinta!

Let’s start with the reservation. I made the reservation online. Called to confirm. Employee 1 &2 could not find it and told me I did not have a reservation. Employee 3 found it. I had to call 3 separate times to confirm this information. I requested an early check in and was told that it would be $45 to check in early but the cost could be waived if I came to the front desk 1 hour early (at 2pm). At 2pm, I tried to check in early. Was told no. “Early check in is not guaranteed”. My question to this response is, “why not share this information when I requested the early check in yesterday? Then tried to check in at 3 (which is the normal check in time). I was told to come back in 30 minutes, “check in time is not guaranteed” Our room still wasn’t ready. After trying to find a solution to the late checkin and asking to speak to a manager, we were asked to find another hotel. I requested (they did not offer) a different type of room. They reluctantly accommodated the request. The breakfast is disgusting. The pool area has NO shade (no umbrellas or trees, etc). The front desk staff all act like they are sharing the same 3 brain cells. AND I found a clump of hair in my room that couldn’t have possibly belonged to me or anyone else in my family.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly. I didn’t have any problems with checking everything was a breeze. My room was nice and clean.

We stay here often and it's great every time. Staff is always pleasant. The pool could use some tlc but that's to be expected. Breakfast you have to eat downstairs and could use a little more options. Overall it's a great stay for the location and price and the staff always makes it a good choice to come back to.

highly recommend staying here! if you are a vampire diaries fan you’ll love it! about 7 minutes away from the square and the staff is very nice!
