La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Covington

Check in was smooth and quick. Room was okay. Shower curtain would not stay closed so the floor was soaked because the tub/shower was small. Carpet at the entrance into the room was puke stained as well as other areas in the hall on the 4th floor. Thankfully the room was not carpeted & seemed clean. Our air conditioning was tremendously loud and rattled when it kicked on but it did keep the room cool. The bed was comfortable. There was no ice machine except on the second floor and the front desk did not know that. The pool water was murky. We did not stay for breakfast the next day. The staff was friendly. The lady cleaning rooms was the most knowledgeable about the location of the ice machine. Hotel is older and has had some updates but needs a thorough hall cleaning and bathroom update.

Pet friendly but there will be a charge if they find evidence that the pet was on the bed? Meh.

Very nice hotel, tight security. Complained that we were going in and out ,the front door,after 9:30 .

The breakfast was not that good. Eggs had no salt sausage was white on some sides. They mean 9 am shut down for the breakfast! 8:55 they were telling us they are shutting down, just to take it to the kitchen and feed it to the workers. Better tha to throw it out 😃

This was a great property for a one night stay. Plenty of parking, friendly staff, good rooms, and even a free breakfast. The only negative was the “ugly” pet owners whose dogs went unattended for over a hour, and disrupted everyone else’s stay with their incessant barking. They weren’t even apologetic to the staff when people decided not to check in (and went elsewhere) because of the racket.

Nice, great breakfast. Lots of people hanging out in parking lot. Also outside and hallway freaked of weed.

Convenient to all the area, not a lot of traffic and clean hotel.

Hotel was packed with young girls for what appeared to be a softball event. Got up to take a shower to discover ZERO hot water in our room. Due to the number of guests all trying to get ready at the same time, it seems the hotel water heaters couldn't keep up. Front staff was USELESS regarding this matter! Told me " we've never had an issue before". When I requested a partial refund, they said no manager was on duty to talk to me and someone would contact me. 5 days later, no one has contacted me!

Room was clean. Easy check in. Free breakfast was good.

The stay was great everything was smooth I paid the deposit in cash staff gave it back after house keeping checked the rooms right there on the spot. Staff was nice no problems everything was clean. I would stay here again.

The staff was more the issue. Tried to get a refund fir one night. Saw propwas sold out so i know it they would have git somebody to take that room. Person i talked to didnt even want to get the mamanger. Manager finally came out and said no. Didnt even care. My daughter went into labor and it didnt matter

There were several things wrong with this hotel stay. The iron didn’t work. The towel hook on the bathroom door was broke. Our room was not serviced the second day of our stay. I had to go to the check in desk to get fresh towels after our request was ignored. The grime on the window was so thick, you couldn’t see outside. The powdered eggs were full of water and the sausage was gray.

The room, lobby and eating area was really clean. The staff was helpful & friendly. I visit frequently because I have family there so this is the hotel I use.
