A great old hotel. Very comfortable, spacious room. Quiet, and such a pleasant atmosphere. We stayed two nights and we're sorry to leave. How can you beat staying in a state park lodge? A very good dining room with excellent food and very attentive staff. If you haven't seen or been in the spring, you are really missing something - delightful!

The history, decor, friendly staff, lots to do and see, the spring to jump in, everything was so great! Delayed check in because rooms not ready until 4p but still expected to be out at 11a. Please address housekeeping staff shortage.

This is a hidden gem and one of my favorite places in the world! I hope the secret doesnt get out TOO MUCH so that its booked solid, but do yourself a favor and visit this pristine wilderness in old world luxury! The resort is impeccable - beauty and history and quality at every turn, but the real star is the spring - the largest freshwater spring in the world! The crystal clear, icy water is a refreshing respite from the heat of the summer, and the untouched wilderness surrounding the resort is extremely special and exceedingly rare in this day and age. Wonderful for all ages from children to seniors, with exceptional ADA compliance with the modernization of the historic elevator and the easy sloping paths to the spring and elsewhere. The ammenities offered are just right - nothing too fancy foo-foo, yet nothing left wanting. The restaurant is EXCELLENT (and we are from New Orleans, the fine dining capital of the US). Highest praise to the chef, kitchen staff and front of house - everything was top tier excellence! Pro tip: DO NOT SKIP THE JUNGLE CRUISE - its absolutely worth the meager cost and the time - we saw manatee, birds, fish, turtles and more. LOVE this place and am anxious to return already! Laura at the front desk is a LIFESAVER and goes above and beyond for her guests!

Did i mention our large comfortable room and the complimentary tea/coffee bar each morning?? We will be back!

Very unique out of the way place. Beautiful and quiet. Riverboat was awesome. Saw manatees, alligators and many different bird species. Lodge was gorgeous.

Historic hotel, beautifully preserved and maintained. Front desk staff were helpful and courteous. Very pleasant, intentionally old-fashioned room without TV, mini-fridge or coffee maker in tune with the period decor. Excellent a/c and ceiling fan however. Restaurant served good quality food and an adequate American cuisine menu at mid-level prices. Breakfast menu was the typical Southern variety, but service on our Sunday morning visit was surprisingly slow. Food was good though and reasonably priced. Wakulla Springs is a beautiful location with a famous swimming area and small beach, nature-themed boat tours and hiking/birdwatching trails. Strongly recommended.

This is a fabulous historic lodge! It was so peaceful for some rest and relaxation. My one complaint was that the AC was not working in the room. The staff were all very nice about it, and did provide us with a box fan for the evening. I will return to the Lodge again in the future.
